In todays video I take my monthly trip to the Lego Store. As it is May, Lego is celebrating May 4th for Star Wars and have released a few new sets plus multiple GWP Promo sets. I will show you round the Lego store, looking at the new sets on display and then show you what I bought.

I enjoyed building the Interceptor, even found a mini tie interceptor poly-bag to display with the big one

Only managed to pick up the Brickheadz for the event. Very much looking forward to adding them to our collection. Just wasnt in the cards for us this year as we get hit really hard pretty much starting with the Lego Harry Potter event every year, through Black Friday and Christmas, all the way until this May 4th event with numerous bdays including both our own, our anniversary, other holidays and other hobbies we share getting those new year product waves. Luckily our Lego retiring list is pretty small this year so should be able to start grabbing the newer sets to catch up with Lego's current selections

Ahh you have plenty of time to get everything that came out, most of which will be on sale anyway. It’s tough trying to keep up with Lego and isn’t cheap. I spend quite a bit every month but there are still so many sets on my ever growing wish list, some I will probably miss out on as the new sets is constant, not to mention space to display them all😂

Question for you sir: Do you folks in the UK get the paper bags in sets bought at retail in UK stores? I’ve heard claims that the paper bags are regular fair in Europe. I realize that mainland Europe is different than the UK, but I figure sets are probably coming from the same supplier source.

Yes we do get the paper Lego shopping bags at UK Lego stores, have done so for a good few years now. I think the only exception is when buying huge sets like the UCS AT-AT or Titanic etc that don’t tend to fit the largest Lego bags, in this instance they provide huge Lego cargo/ikea type bags🙂

@@TheDyslexicGeak Sorry, I was asking about the bags inside the Lego sets. The ones that hold the pieces.

@@Moonraker_6 Oh haha, sorry I mis-read what you said. No the paper bags are not yet widespread, I have only found them in one set so far and that was the Creator 3 in 1 Fox set. They are actually really nice quality paper bags, hopefully will see them in much more sets going forward🙂

I got the R2-D2 on May 1st not realizing it wasn't part of the points promo and I was really bummed but it's a great display set and I love it! Also got the Cody brickhead!

Yeah odd why certain Star Wars sets didn’t have double points, very strange decision from Lego, last year it was every Star Wars set. I think the Cody BrickHead will be popular🙂

Nice haul! I also buckled and grabbed the tie fighter. I really like it. An expensive few days but I used all of my insider points which took the edge off quite significantly. Now to see what Barad-Dur looks like. I might be tempted by that if they do as good of a job with it as they did with Rivendell

Ahh nice, your wallet must be in shock😂Worth while getting the Tie, especially with all the promos and double points, will be many months before it’s available else where. I’m so excited for Barad-Dur, should be revealed next week🤞
