No, the complete saga is worse than Lego Star Wars 2, and Lego Star Wars the video game in my opinion. Mainly because of the hub world of Tcs being awful.
not long ago i finished the game with 100% but with modern overhaul mod. so i can have the new minifigures and weapons from skywalker saga, and the gameplay of the complete saga. the perfect star wars game
I first played it on the Wii before it came out on PC! I'm sure the PSP version which wasn't made, due to the developers not ample resources for it would've been the same as the console versions. I've noticed that the PC version is the same as the Wii since in both, the extra "Exploding Blaster Bolts" works in vehicles levels, unlike the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions while the PC and Wii versions have many more playable characters roaming the hub while in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, only 2-4 characters do so. I'd be against Anakin's Flight replacing "Retake Theed Palace". Anakin's Flight was originally going to be part of The Phantom Meance in the first game which would've gave it seven levels. Had that been the case, it would've came before the Darth Maul level.
When I was a kid Retake Theed Palace used to be one of my least favorites because it was long, but now it's one of my favorites because of that. I wish more of the prequel trilogy levels were like that. Retake Theed Palace is just like the original trilogy levels. It's longer, more puzzles, more enemies, more locations, more exploring, you play as a whole group of characters instead of just 2-3. It's fun.
I remember being annoyed about some of the small changes. Like the pilots in the first cutscene of Phanton Menace falling down no longer scream. When I played the original release that’s when I knew it was going to be funny as hell.
I play The Complete Saga on a phone and while the game is pretty similar it does have some differences like there’s only 3 options in the shop area instead of 6, you can’t rename the custom characters you create, there is no Indiana Jones trailer, and I have no idea how to co op and I’m not sure there even is a co op feature
Being honest, I don't like this game's hub cantina, it's larger, yes, but it feels more empty than the original trilogy cantina. If they expanded that cantina and kept smaller, it would be nicer. Of course, that's all in MY opinion
Another thing they fixed in the prequels is on Episode 3 Chapter 6, I don't remember which music it had in the original game, but in the complete saga it has the iconic Battle of the Heroes theme

They brought out the first 3 games, improving upon the last over the course of 3 years. Then they delayed the skywalker saga by 3 years, and it still was awful.

Idk why everybody says you need to do super story for 100%. I've never done it and 100% the game multiple times legit. Is there a reason why so many say this that I'm just not understanding?

For some reason this got recommended to me so I gave it another watch which made me think of an idea. What if for the bounty hunter missions they spawned in a random location after you already completed it once? I feel like that would've been pretty cool and given people another reason to replay them.
I do not understand the hate for Retake Theed Palace. It is my favorite level from The Phantom Menace. So many great locations and I love the look of the palace. Also since the prequel levels are shorter than the OT levels, it makes sense to keep as many longer levels as possible. Makes sense why the Anakin's flight got moved to a bonus level.
Great video! I used to play this on the Wii with my brother when we were growing up. Two things I distinctly remember are hitting the coin limit, and spending hours in the “Lego city” area, not knowing what to do lol
Another great Lego Video Games Retrospective!!! I rewatched the other 2 Yesterday before this came out!!! I didn't grow up with this Game as much compared to the other 2, I played it once with my 2nd Cousins from America on their WII back in 2009 but after that, I didn't play it properly until around 2016 on PC on Steam...I had to get a PS3 to play it, because my family had PS2!!! So for a time this was the Only Lego Star Wars Game, My Family didn't Own!!!
I am playing the mobile version and using your videos to guide me to the blue minikits and I also used your red power bricks and normal minikits. Unfortunetly the mobile version has buged textures at least for me. Also i don't know how to finnish kamino stud hunt and I don't like both new town and lego city.
