I'd say the Death Star stood up to the initial impact rather well. The following collision with the planet still destroyed it though, but that's to be expected. Deflectors weren't made for crash landings.

I didn't ask what looks nice. I asked what you would use with the scattered pieces of the Death Star playset and the Super Star Destroyer to make something you consider cool. I myself would leave the sets intact since I buy sets that I think look nice and would be fun to build.
kelly wilson whitehead 1: glue doesn't fix parts that are bent 2: nobody would buy this off you with glued parts 3: Lego bricks are only allowed a variation of about 0.002mm so pieces might not fit together after you've glued it

Maybe you didn't hear, but they said $1000 worth of lego. $1000 worth of lego is still $1000 worth of lego even if it's in thousands of pieces. And plus they can rebuild it.
People in the comments,you don't understand how Lego works. If it falls apart you can just rebuild it. It's also not a waste of money since it's their money and this was their intended purpose with purchasing these sets.

Yes, you have to make lots of room in your schedule to rebuild it, and to find all the pieces but it was probably planned so the pieces are maybe all their just scattered. And I get that legos can break and lose their sharpness and even get dented in the edges but its Lego they are people who probably already have replacements for each piece so don't worry. Also I felt sick when I saw the sets clash and fall on the floor.😛

riflery riflery Considering this has instructions, not that dramatic. Bad would be if it was a custom build, and you have to rebuild it without any help/instructions... Also, i´m sure they are getting plenty of youtube money with the video, I doubt they are crying over the destroyed sets lol.

David Burk do you think that the lego is destroyed by that? They sorted and rebuilt them. There was no damage done.. So I would not say they destroyed anything. Except for their time ;-)
