First vid on the new channel! This is a LEGO recreation of possibly the most badass General Grievous moment in the history of Star Wars. =) I do not own the music used. No copyright infringement intended. Made for fan purposes only.
This is extremely high quality stop motion, especially for it’s time. The expressions on the jedi were perfect, and the overall grievous fight scene was recreated perfectly.
For those who wish for the ARC trooper scene: While I do intend to finish the battle, please do not expect it anytime soon. I am currently VERY busy with school work and another upcoming project that looks to be a long term one (as in I MIGHT be ready to release on August 1st, 2015 *wink* *wink*), but stay tuned for more details on that, because its going to be a fun ride. Anyway, I appreciate the support, and I assure you, there is nothing more I want to do than to continue making films. The battle WILL be finished, just not for a while.
You did wonderful on this fan film please keep p them going I shall enjoy them always forever and the bulding Lagos are fun in fact I've got a few Lego video games I'll show these movies to a lot of friends great action.
This was quite badass yes...every character had a good story line, even Anakin who is not exactly the sharpest knife of the box, to say the least. The simple fact they managed to put Jar Jar into a locked closed is already heaven.
This Grevious is from another, sadly, universe, and had the fear and suprise tactics at hand, the TCW one doesnt, he doesnt get the opportunity to use them and has to fight with ranged attack enemies, at the end of this scene starts one where a group of ARC troopers surrounded him and a gunship personally came to kill him, he had to retreat, there was no point on risking that much
Surely inspiring Villain. After all here he was hard to take down... I also resent that in the Corruscant battle episode he doesn't kill Shaak-ti when he has her at hand...not because I dislike her character but because it's what a consistent badass Villain would do. Seriously who in their good sense would like to have THAT kind of enemy going back against you over and over again ? xd. Anyway, maybe his only tactical neuron fried down from the awesome effort of finally team-playing with his droids in order to seep unnoticed into the city's bunker...
They really need to make a better General Grievous minifigure. The first one was good but the arms didn't have enough range of movement. The second is a bit more movie accurate, but it pulls off the four arm look worse than its predecessor.
HORRIOR The legs and details on the new one are so much better. But I wish that somehow they had the arm system of the first one with the detail of the new one.
ohhh my goshh!! an awesome tribute dude! i love it! your greivous animation is epic, the sets and the epicness is as equal as the original series. instant fav and sub mate. :D
Yeah, it's really a shame. I've seen a couple comments (especially on his other video) mention something about a rumored ARC Trooper film. I wonder if he deleted some videos? It's such a great stop motion, though. I really wish he'd return!
I was genuinely surprised and impressed with the stopmotion and the effects. I have ridiculously high standards, but the strengths and flaws are nearly perfectly balanced. Good work.
I remember watching this as a kid because I was such a big fan of Lego, Star Wars and General Grievous. And I haven't even watched the original scene. Now 8 Years later I'm coming back and this is pure nostalgia.
Fantastic! This series was so much better than the new one. Back then, General Grevious could fight 6 Jedi with a victory. But now, he gets defeated by gungans with spears.
The Gungans didn’t even STAB him with any of the spears until General Tarpals caught Grievois off guard with his. The Gungans ALSO had those blue electrical orb things, which were extremely effective against Griveous since he’s more machine than organic.
I like it ;D The animation could be a little bit smoother but effects make whole movie look epic. I really like your custom animation methods for example when you animating Grievous. Anyway great job.
This is just too awesome! I've never seen anyone animate Grievous like that! The new figure is certainly more friendly towards animators. Watching this film alone convinced me to get the new wheel bike set.
this is actually a very impressive stop motion great job. I think the 2003 clone wars is the best star wars media put out and you captured one of the coolest fights greatly
Beautiful and creative Lego animation and you nailed it step-by-step with amazing artwork! ❤💙💚🧡🧡💜💝 Legos and Star Wars has always been great together and this is why; May the force be with you!
She survives the battle in fact, even in the basic stories from Geonisys to the Order 66 and the rise of the Empire, her survival time is about 3 years in full war, with absolutely no self-preservation instinct when it comes to avenge teammates...not so bad.
The editing is a little choppy & unrefined, but all in all, this is a very solid & well-done brickfilm. The audio was ported well & the sets/backdrops are spot on. Plus this is an adaptation of the superior Clone Wars series.
couple inaccuracies: 1 that should be an Acclimator, not a Venator, 2 Obi-Wan was not yet a master during the battle of Hypori, he should have long hair. other than that, it was pretty good.
THIS IS INCREDIBLE! The effects audio sync and acuracy to the original video are sensational the animation could've been smoother though. I can't wait for your future videos though.
