Thanks a lot for the review! I'm happy that you liked the set I designed! Bringing back the western series to Lego has become my goal. In the fourth series of BDP, my wild west style train will be released. I am very happy that you appreciated the wall construction techniques. I love the effect you can get this way. The most difficult thing about this type of technique is hiding the joints. It seems to me that in this case I succeeded nicely. Once again, great review. Greetings from Poland!
Neat little set. I'd place it along the dirt road in the country side. Maybe hugging the mountains seeing it also sells mining equipment. Also maybe build a couple old school gas pump for the outside. Don't want ppl running out of gas in the country side
Buy two of them, and make the other one into a bar with a card table and a dart bord and a bar you can sit at. Just make the outside look different. And if you can make it a different color , it's just a thought. 😊😊😊
I love how the newest Brinklink sets go really well together with the progress of your city. I assume these were all planned ahead of time once you saw them on the site. Its really cool seeing your city evolve further with the help of other builders. Such unique builds gives your city some really cool stories to tell, even with something as simple as a snack shack on the beach haha. I genuinely cant wait to see the next series of Brinklink sets and what youll do with them if you choose to add them to the city. Hopefully there are some you can sprinkle elsewhere in the city like your winter village or the amusement park.
I think it would be awesome to use that train shed from the previous video with a little customisation to look old and wild west, and this, to create a small sort of wild west ghost town remains at the end of the countryside area with an overgrown railway spur at the bottom of the mountain that will be the winter scene. Almost like it was abandoned back in the day after the gold run out....
I always love the Brick Link designer programme builds but I always miss out on buying them 😢 how/when are they available? I know they’re very limited.
You could light some of it on fire and let it melt a little bit to simulate a past fire that was in the building because building fires were common back in the day.
With all that countryside to develop, what about building a small town at the opposite corner of the table enough far from the city? Imagine one main straight road with small modular building shops and a few small house. A town to stop by for the day with lake or some activities to do
I got this set too, box came mangled in the mail. Lego couldn’t do nothing about it, but hook up some vip points. These couriers do not handle with care.
Ok, I know it sounds ridiculous, but please, change the green skirt on the woman with the shopping list to some sort of purple bottoms. Pants or skirt, it doesn't matter, but clearly, her shirt ends in purple and the dark green was not a proper choice. The shop looks great and I know you'll find a way to make it work in your city, I'm definitely thinking it could blend in over in the countryside and train yard area, it being one of the city's first establishments that is now more like a tourist attraction, hence why it's still in business today.
