@Brady King Apperently the LEGO version of jabbas palace looked like a Muslime mosque and offense was taken. Not the actual location in the movie mind you, but the lego set.
Yo avery why do we watch EXACTLY the same shit... lol I see you on Hoi4 videos and history stuff too lmaooo Also Im also Cuba which makes it extra funny to me
2012 was a great year, especially with sets like the _Malevolence_ . I probably won't forget that darth maul in the corner anytime soon. (Also, worst to first is my favorite series on this channel!)
malevolence kills it! i got it when i was like 7 years old and still takes a good amount of shelf right now it is in a good shape with everything completed only a leg on grevious is broken and i just cant fix it
2012 was the most nostalgic year of lego for me. Nothing will ever come close. Palpatines arrest, Jabbas palace, the desert skiff, and the old republic sets will always be the most cherished sets I’ve owned. The geonosian canon especially means a lot to me.
i had all of the sets you mentioned besides the old republic sets and honeslty if it werent for lego ninjago and star wars i dont think i would remember a lot of parts from my childhood
2012 was golden 🏆 would be nice to have another year like this now that we’re older and have money to obtain them all.. Patiently waiting for a UCS Jabba’s palace 🤞🏽
3:06 I remember seein' this in the ol' lego catalogs back in the day. I always loved looking at the sets even if I had a slim chance of getting them (my parents got my older siblings WAY too much lego and thought I didn't need much more. Go figure).
I really hope that Lego could make a mega Jabba’s palace, where there is so much inside it, where the rancor pit also includes, and and the sail barge, and the desert skiff and salarc. There should also be all the minifigures, and there should be over 10.000 bricks in the set.
2012 was my entry into Lego Star Wars and lego as a whole. I remember some of those sets being ones I wanted but was not able to get. Things just were very different back then, now I own some of the sets I wanted (the RAZOR Crest) and I now vallue the sets that came before.
2012 was amazing but sadly I wasn't interested in Star Wars at the time because of the Marvel and DC Comics sets that year. I even missed out on the Lord of the Rings sets!😩😩😩
It's kind of crazy how many new minifigures LEGO offered in 2012. Nute Gunray, Queen Amidala, Barriss Offee, ARC Trooper, Old republic characters... Compare this to 2020 where they reused Mustafar Anakin and Obi-Wan in Clone Wars/early Episode III sets.
i remember when i saw palpatines arrest for the first time. i was 7 and episode 3 was my favorite sw movie. i asked for palpetines arrest for my bday and i was super excited. that’s why palpatines arrest is my favorite set from 2012
The arc trooper vs commando droid BP. Brings me so much nostalgia. First appearance of a commando droid in lego was so cool as a teen. Then of course later years a captain came out to finish off a squad.
This is a very special year, because this was the year I really got into LEGO Star Wars, always wanted Jabba’s palace and it’s a bummer that I could never get it
Anyone else notice that he would’ve made this video 6 months ago? He said he had just built the gungan sub which was 6 moths ago. He’s been saving this vid for a while.
My favourite sets I got from this year would have to be the geonosisan cannon anikans Jedi interceptor the malevolence and the battle pack that came with the arc trooper
The 2012 X-wing and TIE fighter are the most movie-accurate Lego replications I've ever seen so far. There have been others in recent years(and several in the past that came a little close) but unless they were ones that did not include a minifigure because they weren't designed for it, the 2012's take the cake.
Now after the amazing Mos Eisley Cantina MBS set they should do a Jabbas Palace MBS that would be amazing with the rancor underneath and continue on the Tatooine theme as this is the most iconic planet as we can see in the Mandalorian🙌👍!
I actually love the b wing. Its so weird looking that I like it. Yeah after watching the first 5 or so sets after the b wing, it definitely didn't deserve to be last. It looks way cooler than most of those.
Palpatines arrest is far the best set that year!! but closely behind was the malevolence (I loved the ep in s1 with the malevolence)I wish there was more interior, but I want the invisible hand!! I wish it was a UCS!! Like he said. But after that I would say the jabbas palace!! Their was so May figures in the palace. Love the interior. And the connection with the rancor pit!! I wish I got that it. The Sith inerceptor was cool too!!
Mfw i got a ucs r2 for christmas as a kid but i was too stupid to properly take care of legos so it fell apart with time and when i finally had enough of a brain to rebuild it it was already too late and now my poor r2 d2 will never be whole again
2010-13 might be the best star wars years EVER, not only star wars but lego as a whole. ninjago was poppin, city sets were super fun, alotta new themes, super fun times
i got the lite trooper and commando droid bp when i still “played” with lego and when i was traveling a lot. so i ended up losing the clone troopers 😭😭 can i get a big L? plz
If I could choose one UCS playset for lego to make, it would probably be: Venator Class Star Destroyer: Ahsoka Tano, Commander Rex, ARC Jesse, 2x 332nd clone trooper, 3x 501st clone trooper, 2x plain white clone trooper, 2x clone navigation officer. And would be $250
I do like the look of the 9494 Anakin's Jedi interceptor from 2012. It does look great in it's green color scheme. I do like the two side builds from the planet mustafar that Anakin and Obi-Wan fight on. With one of the lava droids and one of the platforms from mustafar. I do think the Minifigure selection is great. You do get Anakin and Obi-Wan and a new gun ray and a security battle droid and R2D2. I should recommend this set for you Ryan from mandrproductions if you don't have this set you could get that set off of eBay. I think your opinion could change whatever you do own this set in the future.
Hoping to see the previous year videos, just finished binging all the recent years. I haven’t been into lego for about 7-8 years, so I want to see which sets I got when I was younger ranked by someone else
At the time the latest interceptors (from 2005) were 20 dollars and it came with another vehicle, and then 2 years later the latest interceptor was 25. 3 figures and 2 small platforms are not worth 15/20 dollars for 2012 standards
