[4K] Legoland Windsor Full Walkthrough, join us on this virtual tour of Legoland Windsor during the Passholders Event. If you are thinking of heading here for the opening day or haven't been in a while then come with us and take a look at what is open and construction on new areas.
During the Passholders event, there were only a few rides that were not open, the Jolly Rocker was testing but not allowing guests to ride, the Viking River Splash was closed with the path leading from The Beginning to Pirate Shores closed and over in Lego Mythica, Hydra's Challenge was closed for maintenance.
Legoland Windsor opened to the public on the 17th March 1996. It was the second Legoland park to be built after Legoland Billund. Over 1000 sites were considered for the construction of the new Legoland, until in 1992 Windsor Safari Park went into receivership and the vacated site was chosen. In April 2005 The Lego Group decided to sell the Legoland parks which were purchased by the Blackstone Group and control parsed to Merlin Entertainment.
