I thought this was a really funny clip from the 5 oclock show well worth watch please rate comment and subscribe, this was a channel broadcast i dont take credit for this content
the most scariest thing about rollercoasters is the wait. Knowing that you're time is coming up lol. Also the slow ascent just before the big drop is freaking horrifying
@@shyamal903 saw two small kids queueing up for a ride at Thorpe park yesterday and after hours of waiting they were too short. It was very depressing because they looked so sad about it
I’m usually just mega excited in the queue then sometimes right at the top of the lift I think oh shit but there’s no turning back now so just enjoy it; then as soon as it gets going I absolutely love it and am usually laughing maniacally by the end
Tensity If you were a roller coaster enthusiast then you would know this used to go slower and they increased the speed and acceleration so there is virtually no chance of a rollback anymore
This is so great. My nan is like an extreme lover of coasters, particularly at this park and other merlin parks. This puts a spark in my heart because i like seeing older people continue to do things like this
I went to Alton Towers last year and as I got to the front of the queue for The Smiler, an old frail man staggered into the station from the single riders queue, aided by his walking stick. "Surely not", I thought. The staff took his stick and helped him to his seat and secured his harness. I sat behind him on row 2. Honestly, I did not think I was getting off that ride for a long time. Thankfully he did not have a coronary during the ride, it was not stopped, resuscitation was not needed. He actually sprang out of his seat when it finished and seemed to take 15 years of him. 😂
Hey, I know you posted this a very long time ago but still lol Did you have the nerve after all these years to go on it. I know I personally wouldn't 😬 Where you from, I'm in Kent right between Dartford/Bexleyheath! I was last at Thorpe Park last Spring.
Love it. This lady is a legend. ....on a "full English" too!! If I live to be her age i'm sure i'll still be just as keen to go on these thrill rides as I am now!!
Just go on it. The worst that can happen is you don't like it, then you just don't ride again. But you might really like it! Life is too short to not try new things.
I rode that when I was 12 and I plan to go on it again this summer, I mainly want to go there for Hyperia but after I've done that I will do stuff like stealth.
@@shyamal903 Oh dear that must've been embarrassing. Well if it makes you feel better, very tall people can't ride on Stealth either. There is a maximum height limit of 1.96m per person.
They don't... Just because one's faster, doesn't mean the acceleration rate is faster. Kingda Ka has a longer launch track, and has a slower acceleration, for that matter.
That was funny but some rides really can be to much for older people like the blasting off space ride at Disney world. The Gs are just too much for some.
Um, the blasting off space ride is a simulation. It doesn't go fast at all, it just simulates it. It's intense, though. My face was deformed through the first half.
Taissa Langdon ur ..first..roller coater ride.....was....THE STEALTH I've never been on one Well I have It was a tiny one tho cuz meh & meh BFF r too scared to go on roller coaters She is also too small to go on
Love this video - that lady is hilarious! I've been on Stealth over 100 times in the past 2 years although after my first ride I vowed to never go on it again.
I was 10 when I went on stealth the first time, and I was on my own on the back row but it turned out ok because I loved it and I’ve been on it too many times to count ever since!
I went on this ride back in March and also for the second time a few days ago... queing up this week I was less nervous than before, and absolutely loved this ride both times. In my opinion Saw was a lot scarier on the drop, perhaps because it went up the tower so slow, rather than fast like this.
My older brother & I went on the Stealth last month. We are in our mid to late 40s & we rocked that ride screaming more than the youngsters behind us. Yes we were fast track ,in front row no shame. I don't classify 71 old at all. Call me mad or crazy but If it is still up when I reach 71 I'll do it all over again & wouldn't give a hoot what anybody has to say.
I have respect for that brave women.. I'm 13 and I was way more scared than her. But I gotta admit, i did feel proud of myself for actually giving it a go!
Did you know that initially, the plan was to built Kingda Ka in Walibi Holland? However because of the height restrictions they weren't allowed to built it. Instead they got Goliath which might actually be a better ride
Maybe it looks scary, but it’s really fun. Last time I went to Thorpe Park, me and my friends went on it 4 times in a row, that was after having been on it once when we got there! I’ve also been on it one other time a few years ago as well. I love this rollercoaster, Thorpe Park is the best.
You know what, respect to her for actually getting on the ride. A few of my friends (who are 14 or 15) wouldn't even make it to the queue line when I went with them
They didn't mean the words scariest roller coaster, they meant worlds tallest. We don't need to come to America to ride kingda ka cuz they can just improve stealth
I went on the front of this ride last week 3 times and I can tell you that the front is so much scarier than any of the other seats, shit hits you in the face, bugs and rain and stuff, and the view coming down from the crest is crazy
A plane goes faster too is that fun? It ain’t about the top speed it’s about the Gforce how quick it does and stealth is faster so more intense giving 1.9g of force compared to 1.7
I know lmao but in this case, since Kingda Ka is the exact same ride but taller and faster, obviously Kingda Ka is "scarier," at least in most people's eyes. Obviously something taller like Superman Escape From Krypton isn't better than this.
I am going to Thorpe park on Thursday 24 May 2018 as it is a reward trip because we have worked very hard to achieve our SATS. I'm going with my class/ the year group and we are aloud to go on stealth. I'm am going to go on it and I'm only 11. I'm 11 vs a 71 year old . I'm more scared than her but I'm still going to do it. I'm just glad that women didn't hurt herself or that nothing happened to her! God bless her!🙏🙌🏾😰😘
I'm 12 came all the way from Scotland to England, mainly to go on "saw the ride", but I also went on this and I have hypermobility and really hurt myself on his ride (nonetheless it was very fun)
