Lehigh Valley C420 in Fresh Snow and more on the Delaware Lackawanna

Over the weekend of January 18th into the 19th, 2020, the first remarkable snow, albeit just a few inches fell across the eastern half of Pennsylvania, with the most accumulation being up in the Northeast Pennsylvania, namely the Pocono Mountains. Knowing that there would be fresh snow on the ground and still falling outta the sky, and that the Delaware Lackawanna would be running on the Pocono Main, I opted to make the trip up to Scranton..
Waiting over by Mattes Street Tower, I see a quartet of ALCOs emerge from Steamtown as a snow shower passes through, as they did throughout the day. C425s 2457 and 2423, RS11 1804 and C424 2403 appear but pause in front of me. I thought this would be the PO-74 power until another set of power appeared, switched tracks and headed back into the yard, with the quartet following
Turned out the PO-74 had a real winner of a set for power and and even better leader, Lehigh Valley C420 414, followed by C636 3642 and M630 3007 with a big train for the Pocono Main. PO-74 is seen thundering outta Ridge Row in Scranton and at Myrtle Street in Dunmore before the chase up the mountains began. The clouds really rolled in for the shots at Elmhust and Moscow before snow began at Gouldsboro, with a shot at the train station and at the former switch to the Tobyhanna Army Depot. Once at Tobyhanna, the crew put on a show with the ALCO trio as the crew reorganized their consist before continuing down the line, leaving all but seven lumber loads for Cresco. at Tobyhanna, PO-74 then is seen crossing a frozen Pocono Summit Lake and passing through Cresco...
After finishing their Bestway work in Cresco, PO-75, the return trip, is seen at Devils Hole Road as they storm up Mount Pocono, now with M630 3007 leading. I catch them at Pocono Summit, where they pick-up empty grain cars from Ardent Mills before leaving town. After picking up more empties at Tobyhanna, they continue up through Gouldsboro and Moscow before one more sighting at Ridge Row.
I apologize, this is not my best video, the wind, snow and a not great tripod proved to be self sabotage, but hopefully the subject matter outweighs those shortcomings.
Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Whenever there's an Alco in the thumbnail I can't resist clicking, the sights and sounds of an Alco throttling up turns a smile on my face. Thanks for this nice video, well done.

Wrong. Rail tower in backround ? Alco powered ? Must be 1966, not 2020...There's probably a 3 man crew that you are hiding from us, too...😎 Great work brother, always enjoy your efforts !! Also, Lehigh Valley #414 ? Wasn't that unit rehabbed & owned by Southern RR of NJ, based out of Winslow, NJ ? Me thinks it was, anyhow...😎

Are you local to the Scranton area. I model this railroad. Raised in the Pocono Mountains I knew I had to model this!
