@@edwardbishop6952 yes, through my years I have been creating various presets in Lightroom. Experimenting, perfecting :) but I always made them in a way so you still have to tweak them. Was actually thinking of doing a video about it and made them available

Love my Q3! it works for portraits and everyday versatile carry. If I know I’m going to focus on portraits my Nikon D5 with a 28-70 2.8 will be in tow as well.

Awesome work mate love the results. I shoot 1DX at the paper, solid gear. A few weeks ago I bought a Q2 for personal projects mostly enjoyed it apart from the mega massive files, and the noise at 3200 upwards more than I expected. Anyway after 14 days of use I killed the Q2, laser strik (on my chan). The upshot is I have a used and damaged Q on its way looking forward to this camera. Liked and subbed mate keep em coming.

Thanks Paul! that sounds sick.. But glad that you got a "new" Q coming :) In my opinion the Q1 is much better for handling low light just like the SL2-S because of the lower resolution. Honestly I don't need 40 MP and over its just make the work process so much slower and I rather haver cleaner files in low light :) and thanks for following along!

@@BobbyAnwar totally agree regarding the massive files, I had to plug in an ext HD as just two weeks with the Q2 the lappy was filing up fast.

Yeah, the ONLY thing I don’t like is the 28mm. Amazing lens, but I would prefer 35, or even 50. Both are classic and both are more versatile than 28. The Q is 90% my dream camera 👍🏻

I have a Q too but use Nikon compatible flashes. Yeah, environmental portraits seems to be most suitable type for the 28mm lens.

@@BobbyAnwar 👍 Nice to know it works too and I'll keep that in mind. I use Nikon flash because my SB-15 is the smallest Auto/Manual flash (with safe triggering voltage) that I still have from the film days. My other flashes are either the hammerhead Metz or larger Canon/Nikon TTL flashes for the DSLR.

Should I be worried about the diverging verticals of such a wide lens when used for full length portraits? I just took shots of an 'average' stature lady and it doesn't look too flattering! Any tips?

Sorry for the late response, I would just not get too close. On the Q2 and Q3 you have a huge sensor so post cropping is not a problem

Du kan sikkert finde en fin Leica Q brugt, til samme pris som f.eks. en Fujifilm x-pro3 ;)

Keep the Q, do not take the q2...I have the q, I have tried the Q2, but at the end kept the q.

Best combo is the Q-P and SL2. 24mp & 47mp tandem. Total flexibility.

@@BobbyAnwar I was one that also decided to get the Q-P instead of the Q2 when i was buying one. I allready had the Q titanium and sold it and bought Fuji gear for a while. Then in the end missed the Q so much that i sold the Fuji gear. And when looking at either the Q or the Q2 i read all the reviews i could find on te Q2 and the only thing i really wanted over the Q was the weather sealing. However already owning the Q earlier i knew it was perfectly usable in a light rain and i rarely go out and shoot in a downpour anyhow. Then i got a good deal on a new Q-P for the same price as the regular Q and its the most beautiful camera out there. I never regretted my choice. Im actually happy not having to work with all those extra pixels, which for me is not needed at all. So yeh Q all the way :)

Oh man I agree. I wanted to get the Q-P as well but it was just too expensive at the time, the only reason I think the Q2 makes sense is the ability to crop a ton because of the huge sensor. I’m not use to the 28mm focal length but slowly adjusting to it. I LOVE the Q, it’s always with me. Imagine a interchangeable lens Q!! Would get it in a heartbeat
