Using the iPhone as Monitor is really smart. I mainly use the Tripod as a grip and Mount my iPhone to the HotShoe of the Leica. The Handle is optional for other angles. For the audio I use the internal Recording of a Rode wireless pro.
Most sensors are made by Sony. Germany lags behind in Microelectronics and Telecom and obsolete-minded people. Leica’s Sensor Manufacturer is Cmosis, a Belgian manufacturer that makes sensors for some of Leica’s cameras. Probably manufactured by Taiwanese or US companies
Soon Chinese, and Korean companies will dominate the photo and electronic market. stubborn Germans make good things, but not completely what most people want. Ergonomics is bad. Apple is in a dominant position, but others are challenging its domination, and stubborn Apple losing its world shares. nowadays most people want both photo and video cameras. Making only for photography you will not be able to make money. Asians, especially Chinese companies can produce any number of goods, but the Japanese, and Germans after sold out can't produce more to the demands.
