It happens. Hopefully you have warranty. Had Canon, Fuji and Leica cameras for many years. Sometimes they need to be fixed and send in. Actually when I think about it. My old Canon 40D needed repair. Both my x-pro2 and x-e3 had problems with shutter and top board, so they repaired it. My old Leica Q had a faulty shutter dial that changed shutter speeds randomly. And when I bought my Leica M10-P used, the ISO dial was not working. They had to replace it. Fortunately the seller agreed to pay for that repair. So if you never had problems - you have been extremely lucky in the past 😊
I think I have been lucky. And I do take very good care of my gear. I am covered by warranty so I am not worried about that part, camera should be arriving at Leica as I type this comment. I am a little concerned by comments I have read from my posts on Facebook and Reddit. I don't know how much truth there is to it but I have come across some information that the Q3 software pushes the hardware a little too hard. I am hoping this is just bad luck and not a large scale flaw.
You sound like a Sony shill. I suspect you are trying to purposely harm the image of Leica's brand by purposely making dubious claims about Leica and their cameras. I never had any kind of issues with my Leica equipment. Please refrain from making such nefarious false claims in the future or risk being served with a defamation lawsuit.
