Leitz Camera = Leica (old & new name)

Before !986 Leitz used the Leica name for cameras only, but after 1986 it applied to binoculars too.

@nothing_beyond congratulations. some people are more sensitive to CA than others. I think the Trinovids are excellent optically if the CA doesn’t bother you. Are are so bright and clear.

@@Paultricounty I read that the Trinovid has CA, so I’m now considering the GPO Passion HD and the Zeiss Conquest HD 10x42 binoculars. However, I’ve read some posts stating the Conquest has CA also. Do you still have the Trinovids? Cheers!

@@archstanton9703 no, I got rid of the Trinovids, the Conquest is much superior in CA correction as well as the GPO HD. The best in the price point for CA correction would be the Kowa Genesis. But no problem with the GPO and the Zeiss.

@@Paultricounty Most of the negative comments on the Conquest HD’s are for broken eye cups, but most Conquest owners appear to be very satisfied with these binoculars. I haven’t come across many Passion HD comments and reviews, but most are positive. The Kowa Genesis is too heavy for lugging around all day and they supposedly have very thick eye cups. So far, the Conquest seems like the best bet, but I’m still exploring my options. I appreciate you sharing your experience with the Trinovids and any recommendations. @@archstanton9703 Kowa 44 are heavy, but it’s all about give and take. I didn’t like the eyecups on the Conquest for the price point, they could do better. GPO very similar optical personality, but with much better build quality. In this price point the Nikon MHG, Meopta and even Vortex Razer to name a few more in the price point.

You know Nelson Mandela was seen as a terrorist at the time, its all about perspectives, try putting yourself in different views, instead of having this onedirectional dogma. Would make the world a better place.

@@clawer2969 I didn't write that Guevara was a terrorist; I stated that he was a murderer. You used a straw man arguement, a logical fallacy. Come back with facts, premises and a conclusion or don't come back at all. Also, look up the word "dogma" and use it correctly.

@@dscoh4961 first of all it is not a straw man argument as I never said my example was in any way related to yours. I was just simply giving another view. Second of all, you could see 'onedirectional dogma' as some form of tautology, but it is used correctly nonetheless. Maybe you should search up the actual meaning of these words. To finish it all off, my example of Nelson Mandela can never be a straw man argument in this case as it is an example wich is less extreme than that of Che. I simply pointed out that some people, even though their regime caused no harm, were seen as the most evil people out there. But yea with that being said I'm not going to argue with someone that already has all of the above wrong.
