*he sells the big issue like a lot of people he not homeless it's a lifestyle choice he a professional beggar and can hustle big time I known of him for years now he is u tube famous thanx to ab* 😀
So they park up and just sit around hoping that someone might pop in for a chat ? Now the police have a "chat van". Didn't look too busy though ! Would be nice to think that man did get his flat but I've never heard of a £20 deposit and £20 for a key.
"some people don't want to go into a police station" they think people would rather be seen getting in the back of a big marked police van in the middle of a busy city to do their business, sorry grassing
@@morpheusmemnoch4160 I suspect he chose AB to ask for money because he thought he was a tourist with his camera. But I've done it myself many times and gave money and gifts to the homeless. He may buy some alcohol with the money but he might buy some food too. Good on AB for having a heart even if he did feed this mans habit for a bit.
Thats got to be the cleanest "homeless" person I've ever seen. Clothes pressed, clean, shoes polished, trimmed groomed beard and fresh haircut...plus a $59 brand new official merch Brooklyn nets baseball hat..Looks like he just stepped out of a rambler outfit store...You got hustled by a professional beggar
I wanted to know what you've written so I know weather to agree or not. But as usual people with tiny brains cant comprehend that. Stick with your trolling lol
Damn AB, my 87 year old auntie fell for exactly the same story in Southampton city centre. A 'homeless' guy - needing £40 to secure permanent accommodation had her in tears. She's struggling by on pension credit but she emptied her purse (all £25) to help him out. When she told me I'd not heard that sob story before - so i thought it was genuine. Now you reveal its a standard con job. Don't know if i have the heart to tell her.
Yeah. This is like the guy in Glasgow that always had no money for the bus home, happened pretty much every day of the week. I would always give him some answer like 'again?!' but he never stopped asking
Nice walkabout, enjoy your interactions, enjoy seeing the amazing buildings and also like seeing the different places you visit, always wondered what Leicester was like but never thought to look it up really
Or maybe she doesn’t like a random person constantly filming her for no reason And then when she POLITELY asks him to stop he says I CANT Do you not think that’s a bit creepy
We do weed at £150 an ounce and plant your own is a bit cheaper unless we’ve planted it on you 🥴😂 if flats are only £40 in Leicester I’m on the fuckin way 🤗🤗🤗
*she could have been much nicer to ab .that building is lots of history I know I used to work there would give my u tube hero ab a guided tour ❤️ obviously she doesn't know who ab is*
I love the way there are a lot of sad lonely men stuck behind a keyboard slagging off a young woman being made uncomfortable by a creepy idiot who edited his sleazy comments out the video! The fact that the women helps out vulnerable members of the public on a daily basis with empathy and compassion and is damn good at it they dont even care to think about! You guys just sit behind a keyboard and carry on living your sad sad lives..while other work hard and you know make a real difference!
Why do a lot of old buildings have half windows or in extreme cases only window transoms at ground level? Some would think we might have had lower street levels at some time. His story didn’t tell me though. tut
Next time please ask them why no one has investigated the BBC or UK parliament about the multiple child sex abuse claims. Sonia Poulton and Shaun Attwood have done remarkable investigations and have been threatened for doing so.
@@charlieminaj2 *agreed but people engage him in conversation then they get his sob story that is all false* he been doing it for twenty plus years it's a lifestyle choice and his career he like the artfull Dodger in Oliver twist .I bet he thought Xmas come early when ab gave him twenty quid
The female security guard seemed like she was just doing her job by asking somebody interested in the building she works at if they needed help and you was disrespectful by trying to film inside a closed building after she has said it’s not okay to do so. Not everybody is okay with being filmed and while not illegal filming people when they have asked you to stop is rude and invasive. It can make people uncomfortable for no other reason than they do not want their image taken without consent, which is completely justified. However you continued to pester her meaning she had to get defensive.
I wonder if the camera operator gets some weird kick out of filming people, clearly doing nothing of particular interest that warrants being filmed, when they say they don't want to be filmed. Guy seems pretty fucking creepy if you ask me.
@@pggp273 You're missing the point. When someone out on the street points a camera at you, and you kindly request that they stop, that doesn't constitute as being horrible.
@@user-fg9vr7mk5z you're missing the point. Being uncomfortable isn't a justifiable or legal reason to have some stop filming in public. She's allowed to be defensive, if she wants, she's also allowed to stay inside her whole day to avoid it. He's legally allowed to film in public, saying it's rude doesn't negate that. Just because you WANT someone do something doesn't mean they HAVE to because you asked politely.
"Have you got enough for a coffee? Actually, to be honest, have you got £30 for me?" You now know that he's not even homeless. I've come across him numerous times - a lot of people in the county pretend to be homeless and beg in the streets, make more money than average joe that works hard, and gives the real homeless people a very bad reputation. Shame really. Very nice gesture though.
Hi AB this is my audit of your audit 😁 Police : “A” and AB : “A+”. Well done brother for helping out the homeless guy. Everybody needs help sometimes. First time in a while that I can give your video a like and the first time you have outscored the police 👍really enjoyed it!
Helping out a homeless guy to buy some poison of his choosing !! 🤔😂 anyhow not knocking AB at all and the homeless chap had a entertaining act !!! The whole 40 minute flat thing was admittedly enterprising 😂
2:50 lol, i was at some tube station in london recently, taking photos as i do (over 12,000 posts on instagram and counting) and i wanted to take a picture of the tube logo against the sky from halfway up the stairs, so i waited and waited for people to get out of the way, and a woman came up to me and said "are you okay" cos i'm nearly 70 and i was leaning on the railing, but i had to disappoint her, "yes i'm okay, just waiting for people to get out of my camera" but i had to thank her cos it was really nice that someone was concerned that i was about to drop or die on the steps, lol. london can be a cool city and a warm city too.
Let’s just give props the them police officers in the van. I’m not sure if they were police officers or just PCSOs but regardless they were very kind and didn’t even ask about AB recording. Wish we could see more police like that :)
That deposit nonsense is the oldest trick in the book. Most if not all Leeds homeless say the same thing... And even when they get ten pound notes, twenty pound notes, ect... They hide it away and claim they've got no money to the next person they meet and need some for their "guaranteed" bed for the night.
AB...I’m curious matey, do you work, are you funded, are you minted ? As all your trips around take time & cash. And if your offering money to pay parking tickets, homeless people en route then even more cash. I watch enough of your audits to know you don’t like too many questions but hoping as they are not incriminating or leading, you will say. I would donate to your cause as think it’s a worthwhile pastime. Ive already donated 2/3 times now to Rob from Crime bodge so let us know if you do a crowd fund or such - happy to contribute 👍🏼
I lived in Leicester for 5 years just left the place, that guy is a career professional at begging money he uses his expertise blagging skills to make himself money I’m 90 percent sure he has a flat he regularly talks to his father so he isn’t alone. He almost persuaded me to lend him 10 pounds but in the end I decided not too as I thought it would be a pain to get back he used the deposit story on me 😂 I was a delivery guy and I worked around the back of shop sometimes so regularly saw all the “homeless people “ shooting up and leaving dirty needles everywhere. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing to trust people but donating your money to a homeless charity would probably be a better use than for this guy to buy a nice steak and a few beers to enjoy in his tax funded flat 🤟🏼
Very kind of you AB, You gave him that money in good faith even if he doesn't use it to secure accomodation you were very generous. I try to help when I can but as the saying goes everyone can help someone buy nobody can help everyone.
Ive been watching your channel for a while now AB. So it's been interesting to see you in Leicester (my home town) Keep up the good work ''my friend'' :D
to the mobile unit, if only all cops actually cared about the people they are charged with securing. not only a great attitude but a great cause as well, and it's good to see police realising that "the station" is intimidating (not that anyone in a police station is there to help unless they feel like it).
The act of people being filmed is simply quite unsettling, if I've got nothing to hide and I'm doing nothing of particular interest to warrant being filmed then why film me?
@@danielhughes2906 Practically everywhere you go in the UK you are being filmed, certainly in the cities. There are CCTV cameras everywhere, why are they filming you?
@@mikeymike1001 One reason and one reason only, in the interest of crime prevention and public safety, there is strict regulations that govern the use of CCTV and those who operate CCTV are trained and licensed to do so, those operators face strict repercussion if they use CCTV Footage in ways that don't serve the above reason. Your camera phone is not CCTV and it's ignorant and dangerous to assume it is. For all you know the guy recording these people does it for malicious purposes, coincidentally he has been accused of editing the footage in such a way that shows those being filmed completely out of context, and Auditing Britain has been challenged again and again to provide an unedited version of his "outings" which he has refused to do. This really doesn't help his case when numerous people have come forward saying that he has sexually harassed, goaded, and otherwise verbally assualted those he has filmed in order to simply get a reaction. To summarise personal cameras are in no way whatsoever the same as CCTV.
@@danielhughes2906 I totally agree with your comment about CCTV. However in public no-one has the expectation of privacy and if you are in public you should be under no misapprehension you are being filmed, by someone. Almost everyone in the civilized world has a 'smartphone; capable of taking high quality video and it is legal to take video in public. What is concerning to me is why the police and civil servants are seemingly afraid of being filmed in public. Considering most police officers now have a 'body cam' it is hypocritical of them to object to being filmed in public. Whenever there is a crime committed the first thing the police ask for, from the public, has anyone got video of the crime. As for you point about about "editing the footage in such a way that shows those being filmed completely out of context, and Auditing Britain has been challenged again and again to provide an unedited version of his "outings" which he has refused to do. This really doesn't help his case when numerous people have come forward saying that he has sexually harassed, goaded, and otherwise verbally assualted those he has filmed in order to simply get a reaction" I am unaware of this, where is your evidence?
A.B. you are a good man and on behalf of all the people who have had to survive on the streets I want to thankyou from the bottom of my heart. That man may well have the chance of a flat or he may well have gone straight to the offy or his dealer but you didn't judge or worry about it. Either way bro you made that mans world a whole lot better for at least that day and potentially for years to come. Again, thanks and respect.
@@jamieniche Its far too complicated to debate it all here and no, of course taking drugs or alcohol are not "tools" for a better day or life from a grounded, safe, warm, perspective that I and probably you have right now. My point was just to appreciate A.B. not judging or making a choice of if he should give the man money on the probable outcome of what he would do with it. No one should judge another and its very difficult to understand until we have been in " the shoes of another."
@@gpe1279 I respect what you are saying. I'm just of the opinion that while people keeping give money to be spent on the "wrong" things nothing will change in the long term. I honestly have nothing but sympathy for people who end up in these awful situations. I also do worry about the future of leicester city centre as a whole as it is being taken over by homeless people and drug takers. People will eventually stop going to the centre altogether.
@@jamieniche we are on the same page largely and it'a a complicated subject. I know having an addiction for over 20 years that no matter how much help was available and low my situation was, I only quit when I wanted to. That man may now be in his new flat or spent it on drugs or drink or both or food....whatever got him through the night. He may quit today, tomorrow ten years or never, imo we should offer our help if we can and obviously feel inclined but either way judging is not in anyones in interest. Cheers niche 123.
Well done following a 20 year old girl around why did you cut out the bit where you tell her shes too pretty to be a security officer? And why did you cut out the part where you ask her what time she finishes?...its easy for people to make hurtful comments about her while shes working hard and there sat at home doing nothing!
Right as if no one has a phone attached to them at all hours of the day. As if no one working hard goes home to relax and watch youtube and reply to comments. Just as a helpful public warning: the guy asking for money for secure accommodation: this is a well known scam..it has been used many times in different parts of the country, including an attempt on me in Bath city centre. I love to help people less fortunate and find ways to do it. In this instance I offered to take the guy to the accommodation myself and I would play the lot and he could keep the money he has already saved. He told me it wasn’t open for another few hours so need it there and then. I told him it wasn’t a problem, i would hang around in the city we could meet there when it opened. He just needed to tell me where it was. He then walked off and told me to F*** off. Always happy to help genuine people in distress - indeed it is our civic duty to do so; equally I don’t want to be lied to and scammed by anyone.
@@walker675 In a perfect world, I would whole heartedly agree with you, unfortunately that is not the case. I always think when you do a good turn it gets repaid ten fold. In the same way if you do someone a wrong you get paid back. I liked that you weren’t judgemental to the homeless guy, not caring what he spent his money on.
Only problem with Leicester is the drug users, there is alot around the centre and I think the lady waiting for the call seemed homeless or an addict, I even got my wallet snatched when I giving someone money so I don't do it anymore and not been back since
