We have been asked many times to film Leicester City Centre so we picked up the Gimbal Walk TV cameras and headed there for a walk around the city to check out the streets, shops, the Christmas shopping and the tourist attractions in the fun and vibrant city!
Leicester is a city I've visited very briefly and always liked so it was great to have a proper look around and it was even better than I thought it would be with a great city centre, busy with shoppers and some great businesses there too!
Leicester is one of the oldest cities in England, with a history going back at least two millennia. There are some really great historic buildings in Leicester City Centre too to have a look at.

i love this city to bits and i know it beter than my home city in eastern europe. vibrant city with many nationalities living here in harmony. the city has many things to see and great history

My wife went on a course for work in Leicester and I went with her. While she was attending that I went for a look around the city because we've never been before. I was totally blown away by it! It was at the same time king Richard's body had been found so there was a exciting buzz about the place! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I grew up in Leicester and left when I was in my 30's I moved to Michigan USA, then to San Diego USA, and recently moved to North Carolina, but my heart will always be in Leicester and connecting with old school mates at English Martyrs.

Loved it living in Leicester back in the 80/90's, but Leicester was a different animal back then. Nice to see the old landmark and a lot of missing ones too.

Great video. The market is well past its sell by date though; stuck in the past. May be your next video could also cover other parts of the City Centre to include Market Street and the Gresham building, as well as Highcross and Great Central Street developments. Keep up the great uploads.
