Literally just finished the Taylor momsen episode and back here 💔 We were so robbed of this being on video 😩😩😩 please bring back leighton. I feel there’s so much they can both talk about like their music careers and leighton’s time on Broadway and how they became friends through filming as storylines changed! I know I’m asking a lot 😭🙏💙
I laughed too hard at how she pronounced Timothee chalamet. I love leighton; she’s well spoken and honestly gorgeous. I’m glad her and Penn are still friends
I learned so much from Blair, as her character had the most growth. Leighton’s phenomenal portrayal reminds me of Vivienne Leigh in Gone With The Wind: Tomorrow is another day! Blair was so inspired by Old Hollywood and she never gave up Leighton made Blair a role model for style and substance. ❤️
how did i, the biggest gossip girl and leighton meester fan on planet earth, not know about this episode till almost 2024! insane- anyway, this episode is amazing i love the topics and leighton is as always, amazing to listen to, super insightful and a great conversationalist :)
I wish they were doing series or movies together or at least as a cameo. I'm still bitter about how their relationship ended in the GG. NGL, I'm still watching DAIR moments on RU-vid till this moment. 🥰
“I’m gonna have a scotch I just killed a man” made me laugh SO FREAKING HARD. Just that short sentence immediately took me back to gossip girl and I honestly think you could use that sentence to sum up the “vibe” of that show lol person would immediately respond gossip girl lol
❤ This is amazing, and the original Gossip Girl series is the best! Leighton Meester is an *incredible* actress, plus major kudos to the writers on the show! Please have Leighton back on the show often!!!
How I’ve seen this podcast for a month and I didn’t see this immediately?! I am still mind boggled that the writers of Gossip Girl accidentally built up to a romantic relationship that actually developed and went so deep. Then the regressed Blair back to her Constance days.
Trying to stop smoking, and this podcast is the only thing that can take my mind off it for a bit ! Great talks, genuine subjects, so many laughs in the bus that people were looking at me as if I was crazy ! 😂 Thanks ❤
Something that I wanted to say it when they were talking about the idiosyncrasies in the show was that… These are not just regular teenagers. They were upper Eastside, old money teenagers for the most part. They lived in one of the most developed cities in the world and were playing in an adult playground with credit cards in penthouses with some of the “best” education that Westerners can get. So yeah, the standards are different. Not saying it’s better, just saying that that’s why the show was captivating.
I can't believe I didn't know this podcast existed until someone told me about it yesterday. I'm over here binging episodes on 1.25x speed now 😂 Lovely, genuine conversations, great banter/chemistry, and the soothing voice of Penn Badgley to boot.
I have absolutely adored your GG reunions as I rewatch the series once a year haha. My FAV.OR.ITE Dair scene was when Blair says “Yeah, I need immediate delivery of four venti lattes w/ ex. shots- none of which are for you.” Then Dan replied “Oh, good- I don’t really like refreshments w/ my theater.” Lolol gives me gizzard guffaws every time haha. Hope to see more reunions w/ y’all 😋
31:30 Damn it kind of make me think. Beacuse I do that. I am so into thinking about this teenagers in the shows. And the media are making it bigger. You can't escape from that
I'm one of those people that are covered in freckles 🥺 I grew up with people acting like I was disgusting. It's SO bizarre to me that freckles are a trend now lol
