I realize Leighton was acting rude but at the same time the interviewer only chatted with Leighton and only brought up Gossip Girl. However, that show ended years ago and it’s quiet rude to only talk to one cast member about an old show, while being surrounded by a new cast and a new show. You have to understand that Leighton is also a mother now, so she’s probably miles past playing Blair Waldorf because she’s changed. It’s clear she wants the interview to include everybody and she’s probably hella done with all these interviewers asking about and bringing up Gossip Girl. I love how the guys let her know that her personality is so very different on this show. You can tell they know she’s pissed and that they support her!

The interviewer was more focused on fangirling over Leighton instead of doing her job which was to interview the three for this show..I get why Leighton didn’t love that. Also her portrayal of Blair was so remarkable it’s been harder to shake off compared to say, Blake Lively VS Serena. She’s always reminded me of Alicia Silverstone and Drew Barrymore in their youth..hopefully her career takes after the latter and she picks the right roles and enjoys longevity.

I don't blame the reporter but Leighton will never escape from us for remembering her as Blair, nor is this holding her back from her film career. Rather it was a spring board for her and the rest of the cast. Wish her all the success in the future and congrats to her new baby to be in 2020
