And grandma and the daughter went to Tybee Island to party and were caught on a video both drunk after Quinton went missing. I hope one day the case of Summer Wells case in Rogersville , Tennessee will be solved. I absolutely believe that the parents hid her body. It’s been almost 3 years. 😢
I agree grandmother should be charged as well. Cause if she wouldn't have left him with her daughter he would still be alive. So she is just as guilty.
Hey some of these babies might make it, some won’t, it just a 50/50 chance. I don’t think some of these men and women who oppose abortion care, once they get here oh well. Pro-life just wants those babies here.
@@tonyortiz1890lol what evidence is there that she was forced to have Quinton? Oh right, there isn't any. You're just trying to connect your personal politics to infanticide. Delulu.
LieLooney and her Mom BillieHoe are BOTH responsible! Billie had custody, LieLooney was NOT to be left alone with Quinton! Both are GUILTY, imo! Billie left poor Quinton in his murderers care! Charge Grandma too!!!!
Now that is stupidity. Most parents think their kids sh** white.Of course Gramma is going to leave the child with the looney Mom because she thinks she is the smartest girl in the block specially since they live together. Why not give custody to the father.
She shouldn't have the right to have a say in what goes on in her case. Poor lil Quinton will never be able to make a choice about anything. R.I.P. Quinton.
I don't understand why is it even legal to suppress evidence? I mean, what does a defense lawyer argue that to a judge? "Your honor, we wish to supress or dismiss evidence that would clearly show my client is guilty?"
You nailed 100%. Also, these criminals run around saying there's nothing wrong with me! I'm awesome. But once their caught, it's I have mental issues. I'm not responsible for my actions!❤
There are instances of that being legitimate. The state is required to collect evidence in the correct way while respecting due process rights. Not saying that’s the case here.
@@glenf6639 right! There's this little thing called the "constitution" . And it needs to be upheld, even for the worst of the worst , unfortunately! People don't get that! If rights are violated for the guilty, they will also be violated for the truly innocent people, it would be a free for all!
There are instances in which evidence is obtained illegally, likely as a result of violating an individual's Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights, i.e. via searching for and seizing evidence without a warrant or otherwise without permission of the individual and by obtaining evidence such as confessions during an interview AFTER an individual has requested an attorney. The latter achieved the granting of a Motion To Suppress for Chad Doerman's confession as a result of the detectives ignoring his request for an attorney multiple times throughout the interrogation. Due to the fact that the system, when abused by lazy and / or unethical law enforcement and prosecution, can be used as a weapon to convict innocent individuals for crimes they did not commit, there exists the ability to conditionally toss evidence that's not been legally obtained. In most cases, though, there's enough of either concrete evidence, circumstantial evidence or both to still allow the prosecution to arrive at a conviction. Such is the case with Chad Doerman who, despite his confession, was found by law enforcement in the presence of an eye-witness and in possession of the murder weapon a few feet away from his victims as they were bleeding out. Suppression of his confession, though ethically necessary due to how his Constitutional rights were violated, is just a formality since there's more than enough evidence remaining to convict him on all counts. If the individual is actually guilty of the crime being charged, it's up to law enforcement to legally obtain supporting evidence and it's up to the prosecution to convince a jury, based on that evidence, that the individual is guilty. Having to cheat, such as by denying council while coercing a confession, only implies that the prosecution's case is too weak to achieve a conviction based on the facts alone. How many actual criminals must end up exonerated because lazy cops and lazy prosecutors let criminals go on technicalities? On the other hand, if cops and prosecutors do their jobs properly, verdicts should be nothing more than formalities as criminals end up behind bars where juries conclude they belong.
Absolutely NO evidence should be thrown out in this case! This monster lied and lied about her heinous, evil actions!!! She should have no rights! I’ll never understand how child murderers are treated with any level of respect. Quinton was a beautiful, innocent baby, who MANY would have taken in as their own, loved and cared for!!! He was so precious. There is no justice in this case… but give QUINTON AS MUCH EARTHLY JUSTICE AS POSSIBLE!
My son is 19mo and I don't think i could continue living if something ever happened to him. Leilani couldn't care less that her son is gone! She doesn't deserve to be called "mother" Leilani wearing the mask in court like it's 2020 is kind of infuriating 😡
Poor sweet innocent little Quinton. He was so precious. This case just broke my heart in a million pieces. So tragic. We love you Quinton. He did not deserve what she did to him. He deserved to be loved and protected and treasured. I hope she pays for what she did to this beautiful little boy. It makes me so upset and angry.
No criminal ever has remorse. I hate to tell you. They all want to get away with their crimes. If she or any other criminal felt bad for what they did they’d plead guilty and take whatever punishment they get. So they want to see if there is enough evidence to convict or if they can sway one jury into innocent.
What an odd thing to say “if something does come up that I’m at fault I will take myself to the police station.” Like you don’t know if you are at fault or not??? Wow.
If this was an accident why don't she just tell the truth. She's probably going to blame it on someone else. I don't think it was an accident. She threw away a beautiful child.
@@kimmib1987 I think she had problems with drugs. She was not supposed to be alone with him. Her mother made the mistake. I think her mother had to go to work .
As an American I do not claim her or any of these other momsters!! As a single mother to two beautiful children I cannot even raise my voice at my babies without feeling absolutely terrible afterwards let alone causing a second of harm to them!
yeah no 2nd degree murder doesn’t result in life without parole, you’d be lucky if someone got even 20 without a chance of parole. 1st degree would have to be proven to even consider that sentence, & if there’s no proof of premeditation or forethought, it won’t happen. trying her for 1st degree & if not fitting the facts could get her acquitted completely, it’s important the state doesn’t file inaccurate charges or give an inaccurate conviction in regards to the evidence
@paigeanguish6216 I understand the apple river killing had 3 reckless homicides eachcount got 12 yrs x 3 is 36 years. The person with good time would get maybe 7 years off that. In this case 5 yrs is a freaking insult to our intelligence. Terrible
⚠️Sorry but Correction 1:49 "after a week of searching" (Waste Management Landfill) ...Quintons little body was found. On behalf of a couple of dozen of people on the Forensics Search Team who searched that landfill,... It was actually about three long weeks, not one week. As a local here in Savannah, the landfill search updates were on the local news every night. One cannot forget the tediousness of waiting for the outcome of the long search and we definitely can't imagine what it was like for the much appreciated people searching. On the behalf of the search team, this should be noted, that this was not just one week.
She was probably abused, her mom was probably abused. It's often a cycle. Until society changes, this will continue. Prevention is better than cure. These young parents need good education, decent jobs daycare for kids, regular health check ups. Until there is a cultural shift and more emphasis on social programmes for all and not just money for the very wealthy, nothing will change
I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN KILL YOUR CHILD LIKE THEY ARE NOTHING TO YOU...AND THEN THESE FOLKS ACT LIKE IT'S NOTHING...IT'S SCARY THAT THESE FOLKS WALK AMONGST US
You are absolutely correct. My mother is proof of that. Back in the 1950's & 60's there was no birth control. My mom had a new baby arrive every eleven months.
Her words are her words she voluntarily chose to speak each and every one of them. Stop killing children. I know dozen of people and I’m positive million more out there would have love to have beautiful little Quinton and raised him as their very own.
If Grandma had custody of Quinton, she too had a duty to keep him safe and if she failed to do so Grandma is equally responsible and should go to Prison as well. Especially since she stood beside her daughter in the Moms Public appeal to find her son. This Grandma had Custody of Quinton for a reason!
@@Liz_H9319 foster care is wrong too. Many foster parents are evil. They do it for money not for the love of the children. If they did it without pa y then they’d do it for the love of children. There are more people who can’t have children who would love to adopt. In foster care the children get taken from home giving back to their criminal or drug addicts parents three times a criminal or addict your kids goes for adoption ID say 1 time your kid goes for adoption
@Liz_H9319 i don't think it is necessarily that they aren't wanted, I think it is the insane expense. I followed a lady who adopted several children overseas and it was bcuz of how difficult it was to adopt In the u.s. with the insane expense and regulations
She's Cold-blooded, and Heartless! Precious Baby Quinton was not only Murdered, he was tossed away like trash!!! Unimaginable, and Unforgivable! She deserves LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE.
The baby didn't walk out the door. Leilani is a monster. she needs life without parole. And her mom should be in prison too. Mom had custody, and let her see Quition.
If it's true that the grandmother was given custody with conditions that the children were never to be left alone w/ Leilani... BJ should be held accountable too. If not for one, the other could NOT have happened.
I’ve prayed for this child and I’ll never stop seeking justice for him, mother put him in the trash!! The grandmother should be held accountable also, she has blood on her hands too..
@@AdverbsAndNouns She said….. If something does come up that I’m at fault I’ll take myself to the police station … She’s guilty af & her mother should be charged too.. Imo
I think that's going to backfire on him. The jury only has so much patience for that constant interruption. She might be better off taking a plea deal. Nobody is going to buy the story of this baby going missing from his own home. The door wasn't locked? Everyone knows she did it, they just don't know why. Her mom was in the process of evicting Lealani & had custody of the 2 boys. Even though she was a total F-up, loser, she couldn't stand for that. She wanted revenge.
@peggypeggy4137 Nope we all know she killed that poor baby 😢 She Deserves the Worst Punishment they Can Dish Out. Looked like to me Taking Selfies Was More Important
It's believed she beat him to death before she disposed of him. Either way an incredibly awful way to go, that baby must have been absolutely terrified.
I followed this case from the very beginning and look up case records from time to time to get updates on it!! It tore my husband and I up😢 Terrible!! Hope she gets the maximum!!!!
Why???? As a parent, you can privately place your child with the other parent or a family member. You can also call Child Protection and place your child temporarily or ongoing towards adoption, telling them your child is in danger as you are about to "lose it" and cause harm or no longer can care for your child. The father can apply for emergency custody at court. The family members can also apply at court for emergency custody and adopt. There are thousands of people who want to adopt!
This woman is despicable! She has no defense. She is totally guilty and her mom knows that she is, as well as the rest of her family. I can’t imagine any of them defending her. Should they be called to the stand What a waste of people’s tax dollars this liar is using up. Just lock her up already!
It's not unusual for anyone in any time period anymore. Have you seen all these 23 and Me or Ancestry tests revealing brothers/sisters who grew up together having 3 or 4 different dad's unknowingly.
I remember clearly back in the nineties,a woman, anxious that her boyfriend might leave her, drowned her two children by driving the car into a lake. This was a national news back then before the net.Nowadays,it seems that no week passes without a child murder.Realy sad.
@@melaniehassler2405 Thank you.Couldn't remember her name, but thought either S or N Carolina.I still remember how she looked. And I guess she is nearing parole.
When Casey from Florida said that her 3 yr old daughter was "missing", I remember the what a shock that was. It was all over the news from the time tot mom was arrested until she was let go (unfortunately). Now it seems that there is not a week that goes by that something similar or even worse is in the news. People have children so that they can collect gov't benefits it seems. Nothing more to them than a paycheck.
@@peggypeggy4137 there's a YT channel called Misery Machine that collects the stories and the things that are done to babies.... we live among pure evil. it's difficult for me to believe that good people are the majority anymore.
I remember that too. I was only a child/teen in the 90’s and I clearly remember seeing that incident on the news. It always stuck with me. Now I’m a parent myself and I absolutely can not fathom what drives these parents to hurt their own innocent children. Makes me sick to my stomach.
My home in England, GB, is in a street called Quinton Road, on the Quinton Meads. Which is near Chatham, a historical town in Kent. I don’t know why I noticed that random coincidence but here I am. RIP ❤
@Rachael. Greetings from Sav'h.👋🏻 The chatham you are speaking on, where our county is called Chatham County here in Savannah Georgia, may likely have a lot to do with how Englanders, were very involved in building the city in the 1800. We have many Victorian homes in our Historic district. Here in the South (Southeast Coastlines) during the 1800s and the (horrible sick) days of slavery, there was as many are aware of slavery trade going on between Savannah & England (and unfortunately all over the planet & still today). And cotton trading etc etc. I'm mentioning the slavery trade, because the cotton trade would not have been possible if it were not for the unimaginable harsh conditions that the slaves were forced to work in to produce the cotton by hand from the fields grown in Georgia. So with this cotton, ships being loaded for shipping cotton to England. In Savannah's Historic District on iconic "River Street" and "Factors walk", this area is made up of big stones. Stones from england make up walls, Buildings that are shops, restaurants, bars, Hotels, etc and the roads where people drive on our waterfront. The stones from England were used as Ballast, to balance and weigh down the ships when they made their way back from England whereas when the ships were on their way from Savannah to England loaded down with cotton. They then needed something to weigh down the ships to come back from England to Savannah. And that's how we got those huge big stones. Some are quite big and rectangle in shape. All this to say a lot of our architecture and the style of homes in the historic district here, the design of our Squares and street systems, Street names, etc etc are named after people or places in England. We may also have plant species specific to England. So with so much going on with how the city began, our city ended up with being called Chatham county. Best wishes. May Baby Quinton Rest In Heaven & Justice be served.
@selfesteem3447 ‘Our’ Chatham, which likely where the name of ‘Chatham’ is derived from, as per your comment, is the home of a significant, historical naval base, which featured heavily in the battle of Waterloo, there is still a naval barracks and docks in location. It’s also heavily featured in the WW1 & 2 wars and was a target for air bomb runs. There’s a number of forts situated throughout the River Medway. Also, less than a mile down the road, is Rochester Castle, which is well over a 1000 years old. The castle is the location of one of the craziest siege stories of English history. The whole area has a deep history, if you ever come to GB, it is definitely worth a trip down here 👍
