I am so glad Lek told her grandfather, the Shaman, who didn't want to keep an elephant, that the elephant is hers to keep. That determination started her path to give love to more orphaned or abandoned or hurt elephants. Elephants really do have unconditional hearts of gold. They are gentle giants, so loyal. Elephants really LOVE. I pray Lek lives a long healthy life to continue all that she does for them.
