Leland always has wonderful stories about the gifted musicians he played with. He is equally gifted. His contributions to so many songs is absolute magic. 🎵🎶

I went & picked-up my "Everybody Loves Me" book directly from the legendary, Leland Sklar, himself. He signed it, signed his photos for me, and couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. I also got to meet, Steve Lukather, the world's greatest and most tasteful & melodic guitarist that ever graced a recording. I've been listening to these two great musicians my entire life. So cool to have met such iconic players in person. The thrill of a lifetime!🙌🙌🌎🍎

I’d be cool with this being 4 hours long. I could listen to session stories all day long. Especially with these giants.

Wouldn't it be magical if footage emerged from back in the day of all these wizard musicians on a work date ,in the studio ,hanging ,cracking funnies with each other and making incredible music together ! You never know ! Maybe Mr Sklar had a cine camera on which he documented them in some way ! That would be gold dust .

I could sit at his feet, as if I were his disciple, and listen to his tales. I need to hear more about his experiences with Tommy Tedesco, as they make me laugh, and these days, we could all use a good laugh.

I just love watching the interviews with the different session musicians. The stories are so great. You couldn’t even make these stories up if you were a Hollywood writer.

We were working together on a date and he told me Mike I just have my amp customized. I thought it upgraded the electronics but he had a cigarette lighter put into it. Can you beat that for customization.

There are great, funny stories, but one might also remember that for every funny story there were far more often hours and hours of playing lame-ass music 17 times over and trying to maintain a positive attitude.

how in the hell does Leland Sklar shovel food into his mouth through that little hidden slit in his beard?
