Lem 25 lb meat mixers, I added both videos together, hope you all liked the video. The only negative is you can not mix 5 lb of meat mixer is to big. Works great when mixing 10 pounds or more
I just bought the same grinder and now they have a dual grind adapter which I added to my purchase. I make a lot of deer and wild hog sausage and was debating getting the mixer over the winter once I get my grinder in. Long term, how do you like the tilt mixer? Easy to clean, worth the effort instead of hand mixing in a meat tote? What is involved with the clean up? Do you have to take it apart? Happy HOlidays....its time to grind!!
Do you know if that mixer will fit other 1.5hp Grinders? I know it would have to be level with the auger port of the mixer, but was wondering if all 1.5hp Grinders are the same where the mixer would be inserted into the grinder. Thanks for the video.
Ny the time you figure in your set up and clean up, for such tiny batches as 10 pounds. I would have to say doing it by hand is MUCH faster and easier without question. You asked, " What do you guys think?" So, I told ya! Laughs. Plus, you can use plain old American cheese as it works as well, or better, and is 1/4 of the price of "high temp cheese". Just a tip for you friend!
5 lb meat minimum precludes me using it to blend custom burgers (ground short rib, brisket, sirloin) "as needed". What would anyone seeing this suggest using to blend smaller amounts of ground meat?
