Extra tip: Just before you mine to remove the blocker make make 1 lemming near the blocker a climber. He will then climb the left wall and be the last lemming to cross the bridge which makes it very easy to destroy the bridge.
I can't remember last time I played Lemmings, I gave up at this level... now many years later I see the solution thanks to youtube... I didn't know that the builder could unblock the blocker!!!
Alternative way: when the builder comes back, turn it into a miner at the same time another guy from the other direction. They will meet below the stopper and both cancel each other orders.
The lemming that climbs the left wall is the lemming that mines the bridge. He will be the only lemming to fall and will remain a climber after the fall, so both guys on the bottom can be climbers.
This level was so infamous in the early days that they actually printed the solution in the Mega Drive version's manual! The only other levels that had this honour were Tricky 22 (From the boundary line) and... you probably guessed it... Tricky 19 (Postcard from Lemmingland). I do have to say though, it is quite an ingenious puzzle.
im playing this on an atari emulator on my gp2x this was the first level that i couldnt figure out for myself, that was sad :( but the thing i dont understand is, why the lemming that mines the last step of the stair doesnt gets smashed on the ground when he falls? i cant get him to stay alive!! somebody please tell me specially if you played the atari version
