Cool interview! Well prepared questions but good improvisation as well. Especially when you're sitting in the middle of one of the best rock 'n roll bands ever! Well done Christina! RIP LEMMY
Was Mikkey slagging off Big Brother? Ironic eh, seeing as he was in the Swedish version of "I'm a celebrity...get me outta here" just two years later. Considering that he almost won,(coming in third and being the last person voted off), I'm curious what he would say now.
I had not seen this interview until now in 2020. These three took Motor Head in to the 21st century with no compromise. We all miss Lemmy but we had a hell of ride with him over the years. I saw Motor Head at the Hollywood Palladium in the 80s. Someone threw a shoe that hit Lemmy and he brought the show to halt and the place went dead silent. "Anymore shit comes up here and we're off". Not a so much as a drop of sweat came near the boys and they carried on and rocked. Nice interview. Lemmy's wit was sharp as always.
rolla Check out her more recent interviews she did with the Melvins and Shane Embury from Napalm Death. She's obviously older, her look has changed,(I think for the better), and she has improved as an interviewer, but she has still retained her laugh
Totally annoying :D she's not quite used to work with a microphone, too... not good coordinated, obviously nervous... but on the other hand cute and natural - probably has little experience, too - generally ruins the interview with her inadequacy, but the guys are pretty tolerant and more or less do the job on their own :D during the giggle-free gaps... R.I.P. Lemmy and respect to Phil and Mikkey!
Dude it was my third interview and trust me, editing it whilst watching my insanely shit mic technique was way more painful. Glad that made up for it lol
@@TheVoidwithChristina haha. But seriously. It was a great interview. I was just playing. All good and you rocked it anyway. And yes. Completely cute!! Ha! Id like to catch more of your interviews. Live and we learn. And im glad you stuck with it!!! F*** 3rd interview was motorhead... not too shabby!!! Cheers!!!!
I got to say enjoyed the interview, Lucky you Christina getting to meet one of my favorite bands ..Lemmy is always fun to watch, Love Motörhead saw them once with Black Sabbath and Morbid Angel in New Orleans.Bastards Tour.. i never got a crap album from them! RIP Lemmy and Motörhead!
I know this was 10 years ago, but can we have this interviewer for all celebrity interviews going forward? She's intelligent, respectful, engaging, knowledgeable, charming. I'll need to go to a thesaurus to come up with a few more accolades.
Thank you so much for your kind words, means the world! I love doing this so much, and humans like you have always kept me going on what can be a very solitary journey. Thanks again for proving how rad strangers can be!
I have seen most interviews with Lemmy and Motörhead I think and there are maybe a couple with female interviewers that have done a good job. Either they never heard amore than a couple of the bands songs, or worse are openly hostile to metal and hard rock or unprepared and condecending-. There are a few though, this being one of them. Good level to put it on this. Well prepaired and seems smarter than most from how she handels it. Moving on if when something feeös like it's one ddirection seems done and keep them talking with the other two guys as long as something goos comes out of it. Behaving like a 18y old slut fan and to like she's a bimbo fan. Wrong with most other bands, with Motörhead though. Smart on the inside, bimbo toucjh them as she does so if she likes the direction and on the outside giggling and agreeing while still running the interview. Feels like the perfect approach to keep them interst in the interview While showing bodylanguage they are probably VERY used to. Giggels to anything they sa , and add a littöe poch ingmwe
Ykköskaveri...kaksio L.A.ssa. kaikki me huimat kaverit snaijattiin Intiaanaja ja myöskin työväestöä, ei eliittiä !!! Lemmy Kilmister & Motorhead Interview (2007) - Kesto: 16:16. The Void with Christina 5 008 näyttökertaa kin natseja...
Cool interview! They really loved eachother and you could hear it. The music got so much better after hammered and they got back on the music map again with Cameron Webb as a producer. Man I miss that band...
Christina cute and attractive love her laugh :) I feel she would be cool to hang with. She has a real feel to her attitude she wants and enjoys doing these interviews it just flows. I just find other interviewer's are fake and are trying to hard don't know anything about the band I guess it would be like Opera interviewing them it just don't work you don't put an interviewer that interviews A list People magazine cover types with a dirty hard rock band.
Love how Lemmy talks here. That's due to that relaxed lady. Reminds me of many a chat at the bar. Relaxed peeps having a drinks. Edit Lemmy quotes Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band at the end. ' singing for you covered in sequins' lol
Man thats so true what lemmy said about people abandoning the old music for something new, there's a bunch old timers at the bar that play five finger and all the new shit and then I'll throw on some ac/dc or motorhead and they'll be like " Why you playing all that old shit?" .
didn't like the form and the lady's attitude, but loved the content... first interview without the question "why you picked bass guitar" :) Finally a normal conversation.
Ah, thanks?! This was like my third interview. I dunno, if Lemmy says he's playing covered with sequins just for us, I think my attitude was just fine :P
Something is wrong on this story. Lemmy said you can`t imagine how shitty Motörhead was in its first year. And Philly said I read about it. At this point he must have been 13 or 14 years old. On the other hand he admitted that he became a Hawkwind fan at age 11 or 12, by the time he got his first autograph from Lemmy.
Chris Krueger beyond calling me girl like you’re an elderly man in the 1950s (which is weird especially as my name is on the channel) my mic technique sucks here - 2nd ever interview, 12 years ago. Sorry!
@@TheVoidwithChristina Dear CHRISTINA, I called you "girl" cause in the vid you look like a girl. I'm 42 by the way. No problem with the interview. Everybody has to learn things and that was your 2nd interview. The questions you asked and the atmosphare are very good in this interview!! Maybe that's why I complained about the mic: Because the interview itself is really really good. :-)
She's sitting next to the mighty motörhead which is awestruck enough and they all love to talk fast and a lot. I think she did quite well considering the circumstances.
