Hey there guys.... Love your guys plooms. Just a little background on whos talking lol i am a fellow vape head. Been vaping for about a year now and cant get enough of it. I am 20 years of age and have been a cig smoker since i was 9... Eeekkk ikr. luckaly tho since vaping i havent had a single puff and have dropped my nicotine lvls to 0. I have been a religious watcher of your channel for the longest time. And view after view i cant get enough of it. But latly i have ran into a bit of a problem. Me and my wife made a move to a new state and bad idea gone even badder we are now homeless. We live in a shelter similar to a collede campus and everyday is a hardship for me and my wife lexy. And vaping has really been our biggest relief in this past year. Now me and my wife both work to make ends meet but it dousnt give us alot of free MONEY to get better mods to help us grow as vapers and as the prices rize our plooms get smaller. I normally have lots of time to vape and know so much about it that i wanted to start a channel and help spread more knowledge about vaping. But without a good bace to start with it makes it difficult to build the confidence to move forward. I dont do drugs and i am a god loving bible pushing christian. And i know asking for a handout is not what everyone wants to hear or be asked but i cant move forward without a little help so im trying to reach out and put my pride to the side so that maby someone would help me in starting my passion with a bang. Now ik these things aint cheep. So i couldnt sit here and ask for a whole bunch of juces and new mods and the best of everything. But as mentioned before i am reaching out for help. So rather then ask for all that. Im simply just asking that if you could find it in your heart to maby look through your old mods and throw one my way so that i can have something worth pushing for. I couldnt be happier. And if not and you feel that im bugging or pushing in any way thats fine i understand.... A man in my situation tends to get that alot but the only way i succeed is by trying until god puts something in my path. So if you feel giving please hit me up on my channel and i most definitely will get back to you and a call would be amazing. But if all else fails. Just a shout out would be insanity for me and my wife. Untill then.KEEP ON CHUCKIN
Just bought the lemo 2 yesterday and have to say I absolutely love it! The pin is actually adjustable if you take the bottom deck off and turn the flat head piece.
Answered my questions I didn't even know to ask before I thought of them. I will buy one of these. I wish you had concentrated a little more on where the tank hits the battery area. You said it was non-adjustable pin but I just wanted that like double confirmed by you showing it and talking about it.
Because of this review I bought this instead of a subtank. Man am I glad I did. Finally! A tank that compares with my RBA's. Thank you man. I love everything about this tank! First time I filled it up I left the pre installed coil in it ( it's still there btw. Want to see how long it lasts.) I had primed it properly, wide open airflow and ramped the istick 50 up to 40w (I'm a conservative. Lol) and chain vaped four HUGE pulls. Filled my car and made me dizzy. I kicked it up to 50 and did the same thing. Big mistake. Need to mix some 3mg. This 6 is deadly. But have yet to taste any cotton. Burnt or otherwise. Unreal tank.
Next move Eleaf design the bottom section so you can access the deck to rewick, dry burn or rebuild without having to drain the tank, for me that would make it the perfect RTA.
The right way to fill up this bad boy is close the air holes, remove the drip tip,put a finger in the drip tip area holding the tank horizontal, open the fill port and fill this bad boy. After filling the tank take the finger off the drip tip hole, close the filling sistem, open the air slots, poot the drip tip back and you are god to go!7:37
I love that you fixed this video, and that right there is more proof too me that you actually give a shit about us, your viewers! then some bullshit texts
Yeah, mine have all been full of machine oil. Took me a minute to fill it up right also. No worries Rip,, it happens. Thanks for the updated review. I am loving mine. I have had a little trouble with the pancake wicking on this one though. Probably because I am doing it wrong. lol
PBusardo does a great review of this, where he shows the deck is the same, juice channels are the same, chimney is the same, only new features is more airflow, better airflow control, and the top fill method, and just like the lemo and drop does not accommodate dripper bottles well. So I would say buy the drop instead of this one, but to each his own. It would be tough for me to get this one already owning the lemo and the drop, not enough change. Especially due to the fact you can pick up allot of different RTA's on the market for around the same price point.
Saying its "leak proof" is a pretty bold statement on project sub ohms part .. I have had my silver play for about 2 months and it has leaked a handful of times when I didn't wick correctly .. I know it's my fault that it leaked cause I wicked wrong but they do say it is "leak proof"
you are absolutely corect; the silverplay is not "leak proof", as you said its only leak proof when you wick it right.ive had mine for about the same amount of time that youve had and the first couple of times it did leak on me, my fault of course. but then i got the hang of it and i lay it on its side for hours at a time at work at its bone dry. got mine sitting on a istick 50watt at 40 watts with a .35 build with the kayfun bellcap and im very pleaded with it
MrNiceGuy80x5 Completely agree, I have a kayfun, subtank mini, atlantis and today I received the Lemo 2. Silverplay is still the king, bigger juice channels, more airflow, etc.
Kangertech SubTank Plus is my new favorite. No dry hits no leakage, nice clouds and flavor like on the mini(same RTA section) BUTTTT 7ML juice capacity. Ohh they got rid of that stupid pin on the positive 510 as well.
RiP can you do a review on the new Mutilator RDA? I have one coming in the mail and was hoping to see how it stacks up against many other RDA's. Look forward to your future videos regardless!
Nice review man, and always great to admit you've been wrong. Everybody makes mistakes. People crying about yours, are just pathetic liars who claim to never make mistakes. Thats why you are still my favorite reviewer. Oh and i just ordered myself 2 lemos2 :)
i don't have leaking issues with refilling. even with the airflow opened. i only experienced one time of leaking. it's when i vape in car, and i place it horizontally on the car seat. well the leaking wasn't that bad. it just made the atomizer a little bit wet and sticky. so i think you should put it stand up vertically when you are not using it. even when i left it overnight standing up vertically with the airflow opened, it didn't leak. for me it's the best tank i have. well, the best atomizer i have is an rda, but you know it's an rta, it can't compare to an rda.
oh yeah. some people complaining about the machine oil etc, and it taste like steel when you vape it. well, you should have cleaned it before you use it. first i had it on hand, i took it parts, then rinse it with tap water, then put it in a bowl with hot water (i mean hot like about 90 celcius) for about five minutes, the rinse it with drinkable water, dry it, done. I've never taste those steel flavor thing in this lemo 2. I didn't even know that it has machine oil. Untill someone complained about it.
If you do fill method that eleaf recomend, your tank never full The best way to that sucker up is to close its driptip using your finger or whatever youhave when fill hole is open, after the fill hole is closed open your driptip closer and open those air hole, voila you have zero leak and full capacity of tank, even you fill it until your juice leak from fill hole (indicated real full) it still zero leak
I love this Lemo2. Had it for a few weeks now, and I think the plumes are stupid crazy thick and go on and on! Seriously, I might be doing myself some harm with this RTA. Never cloud chased so much. Someone get me a vape doctor to check me out!
This one is the prototype one, not the final released Lemo2. It, has black laser engravings unlike the final released Lemo2 and a non peek insulator final released Lemo2, but thanks for the review... And the final released Lemo2 comes with a pamphlet inside showing graphically how to fill it... lol
Interesting Idea, not something I can try but something certainly possible by your skill level. Do you think its possible to run two vertical coils one this ie a duel chimney coil?
Someone please tell eleaf to release a drop kit for this. I don't care if it holds 1.5 or 2ml of e-liquid. The drop would make this thing awesome because it would be super flavor + you can refill so easy!
This RTA is awesome. It may just be me, but it does "guzzle"! But the vape is heaven, especially with Rips Blueberry Custard! It does come with extra cotton and Kanthal, but I'm not sure what size Kanthal. Maybe 24 ga or 26 ga.
I saw 5 reviews on this device so far and yes that is above normal for me. I usually watch 2 on a product and if I am thinking of actually buying the product I will watch more videos. Any who 5 videos from the 5 top reviewers and the opinions on this device were 5 different outcomes by far. I never saw that before not all 5 anyway.
Hi, RiP. I know you don't spend much time in the comments but was really hoping you might stumble across this and confirm a suspicion- was the oll (oil) all over the tank or just around the top slidey filler portion? I watched another reviewer gripe about that but I wonder if that's there as a lube as to not tear up whatever sealing material they put up there before it's juicy from eliquid. Thanks for your time and the vids.
I bought a Lemo 2 and I agree the machine oil if for lubrication of the fill port and airflow control BUT it was also all over the build deck, chimney (both parts) as well as in the 510 connection. I had to take it completely apart, build deck and all, and soak it overnight in alcohol to remove the taste of the oil. Hope I helped you out
***** It's worth a shot because it's important to know if folks really do have to clean up actual oil from a brand new tank. From eleaf, no less. He used to reply to people. I wonder what happened. These comments sections can fill up with silly crap pretty quickly but why does that keep one from answering a question or throwing out an acknowledgement or two? Sorta disheartening, no? He seems an ok guy on the vids.
Vince Miniscalco Hey, thanks for that, Vince. That does help. Hard to believe eleaf would do that to us. I have two lemos and they were spotless when new. Love em, btw.
Glad I could help. My original Lemo was just like yours; spotless and ready to vape right out of the box but Eleaf definitely wasn't as strict this go around which is a shame. I still love my Lemo 2 and its my daily RTA but I was definitely disappointed.
fobroth0236 I just got mine and I guess I should have checked well, but I did take it apart and didn't notice any oil. I don't taste any either. Weird mine says LEMO 2 just below one air slot, RIP's says Eleaf there. Mine says Eleaf opposite the fill port, RIP's says LEMO2 there. Maybe I got revision 2 or he got a prototype. Also, RIP's shows a copper 510 sticking way out, mine is stainless and does stick out but more normally. I love this tank!
I wonder if it still has good flavor if I us a higher ohm, like 1.5? I don't do the sub ohm thing. I don't use a lot of different things. Got my Kayfun Lite, and I like it. Good flavor and easy to build. Don't like the metal sleeve because I can't see my juice. Managed to crack a dang poly though because of a lemon pie juice and a pineapple juice I love! Is this one just as easy to handle as my KFL? I need a glass tank for my tank crackers. Don't really care about cloud production though. What's your opinion, Rip? I'm still shy on mechanical mods and high wattage. My 20watt eleaf is fine with me...(Thought I'd give you a good giggle!)
Luv Chylde Contrary to popular belief, if you are using a vv/vw device like the iStick 50 you are better off not building sub-ohm. Sub-ohm is for mechanical mods because the only way they can adjust wattage is by lowering the ohms. Also you can get the quarts glass kit for kayfuns: www.fasttech.com/product/1797302-kayfun-quartz-tank-kit If you don't want to order from fasttech (china/7days to ship/free shipping though) you can google it for a local provider. If you mouth to lung you will like this device. If you lung hit you should get the Kanger Subtank Mini.
I have a dumb question... why are tanks normally cheaper then RTAs? I feel like there is more materials, and tech behind the Tanks, instead of the RTAs...
Hey RiP, just noticed when watching, at 2:53, theres no o-ring on the shaft, could this be the cause of it leaking when you fill it? It looks like there is a groove machined into the shaft section for an o-ring?
RiP Trippers I'm pretty new to all this, my quit smoking date was June 1st, been vaping since a couple of weeks before that. Anyway, this Lemo 2 I've got here is pretty awesome, using it on a Smok Xpro M80 Plus and loving it. I'm just curious if you or anyone else has noticed the metal drip tip heating up like a mother when you chain vape? It only takes a sec to cool down, but man does it get hot!
Hello love the videos. I have a new ipv3 Pioneer 2. 165w. Love it !!!! I have 3 tanks now. The Atlantis 2. Kanger plus. . And the freemax star. I notice the kanger factory coils dont wick great at 70-30. 60-40 dose ok. My question is what is the best TANK that wicks great 70-30. Can HAndel at least 65-75 watts. And has great task. With a rebuildable Deck. Trevor. Remember. VAPPING IS THE FUTURE AND THE FUTURE IS NOW! !!
IMHO the best RTA out there by a mile is the Goliath. I have kayfun monster, lemo and Goblin and the Goliath lays them all to waste with a. 2 ohm build. 100%vg OMG!
And NO! It does not guzzle because of leaks, I fill it the way Rip and Eleaf described and it hasn't leaked one drop. It guzzles cuz I love Blueberry Custard juice! Thanks Rip!
Ha! My SubTank just quit working so now I have to buy a replacement PLUS another sub-ohm tank for my new temp control mod.- damn! decisions decisions - with all the sub-ohm tanks on the market these days ... not the Lemo 2 - I'm staying with sub-ohms ... right now I'm thinking the Arctic Tank and the Delta II... any suggestions?
Hi , I would kindly like to ask . How often should the wire be replaced on the lemo2 ? After 1 month of using it as well as 50w istick I feel that I may not be getting the best performance , or it could be that battery has weakened from daily usage. I would appreciate any tips and advise. Thank you very much
Well if HR 2058 passes it will be no more vaping. FDA wants vaping gone. Big Tobacco is losing money and trying to force the FDA to get rid of it. They need to rework HR 2058 to include vaping.
So really looking at picking one of these up, but all my juice bottles only have glass droppers in them. How hard is it to fill with a glass pipette/drip tip? Or, where can I get bottles that will work better to fill this tank with? Thanks.
Had my lemo 2 for over a week and it looks slightly different cosmetically to yours ie laser etching differences however i haven't paid any attention to the correct way of filling and fill mine vertical everytime and have had 0 leaks, also my peek insulator is a slightly brown colour, i suspect you may have a bit of a duff one there.
I agree. Only had mine since yesterday but so far I'm blown away. I vape everything from Kayfuns to RBA's and right now (honeymoon stage, admittedly) I'm absolutely in love with this device. .5 coil @ 40w wide open atop my istick 50 and it's a perfect chunky vape I can almost chew for under $100. How can you beat that??
I use this little fucker for about 3 weeks now. Its really great. No leaking or gurgleing at all. The throat hit on the Lemo 1 is a little bit heavier I think. I miss that :-)
The Lemo drop has better flavor imo... I don't understand that you say the flavor is better because of the shaft... The drop doesn't have a shaft at all.. Anyhow, I like the Lemo 1 & 2 ... Not a fan of the huge (diameter) mouth-piece though..
Rip, I know you mentioned the machine oil on the Lemo 2 but why didn't you tell us how to get rid of that shit? Cleaned the Lemo 2 with alcohol and hot soapy water but it didn't do any good, it just ruined a whole tank of Milkman e-juice.... That really sucks donkey dooo.
Using this thing a week now, event got and 70/30 VG Base with it. Getting dry hit after dry hit with it, even with the Pancake method, same with the Subtank. Only thing that will work with this base is my Lemo 1.. i have no idea whats wrong :(
man just try this method: leave it on your mod eaven vertical, open the fill port and fill it, do not eaven mess with closing the airflow, just open the fill port, fill it up, then close it back down, it will work perfectly, and zero leaking, easy as that, they have invented the perfect way to fill a tank and they don't eaven know...
I currently have an Atlantis and using a vaporshark rDNA40 trying to get the best flavor possible for the lowest amount is this worth it or should i just get something else. ( i prefer the convenience of a tank or RTA )
I'm brand new to vaping. Any tips for a noobie? My friend let me borrow his Melo by Eleaf and I went to a local shop and picked up a 30w isick also by Eleaf. Any suggestions for a better set up for a solid learning ground?
How does the flavor of this compare to say, a Kayfun 3.1? I just bought a Goblin Mini, but I'd had my eye on this for even longer, but after seeing the Goblin Mini, I couldn't help buy love it's size and appearance. After receiving it, I'm pretty disappointed, because the flavor for me is very muted compared to my Kayfun. The Goblin produces much better vapor though, but I'm still having issues building on it very well. Anyway, anyone able to answer my question, or have any tips on how to build the Goblin Mini to have better flavor or more consistency? Thanks!
