Thank you for considering and acknowledging the most economical choice of chicken at this time. I'm spending an extra $30 on groceries & $13 at the pump per week. This week anyway. Who knows how much prices will climb next week. There's nothing for me to cut from my budget. My savings I guess?
I like your speech at the end Laura. With all that’s going on I’m making the conscious decision more and more to eat at home. I’m doing the best with what I got.
I have some bone-in chicken breasts and leg quarters in my freezer. Currently my taste is suffering from COVID but as it recovers I'm going to try this. I can currently only tolerate chicken cutlets/tenders because of the textures. Thanks for brightening my day Laura. I went into septic shock 2 weeks ago from COVID and watched your videos and reels daily in the hospital and it brought me joy. You are appreciated in my house!
Get some peppermint oil essential oil! It will help get your smell and taste back much quicker. :) You should also take some elderberry syrup. Feel better.
Ooooooh I'm totally trying this!! I've been looking for "the" perfect chicken thigh recipe for my niece's baptism this weekend! Thank you as always, Laura!!
I made this last night and was so hoping for leftovers but it was such a massive hit that it all went last night !!! Thank you for a lovely inexpensive dinner 😘😘
Just made this today and it’s going into one of our weekday meal staples! Recipe is very forgiving and the best thing is it requires little prep and clean up time! Easy and delicious!
I made this last night and my family loved it. We will definitely be making this again. We have also been remaking your chicken rice and lime soup for over 4 years now. Thanks Laura.
Ever frugal, sop up the remainder seasoning, just like my late mother would do. I can see this with seasoned egg noodles, and I like your thought on reasonably priced family dinners given the times. I am a boomer, and I have never regretted being a subscriber. Thanks.
I love to put in fresh Bay leaves into my rice. It has to be fresh not dried. It is beyond mind blowing. I learned this from a Chef in New Orleans. It is Divjne.
Love this recipe Laura and love your words of pragmatic realism in the kitchen; as long as you're making sth nice and keeping things well- balanced yet simple, you should pat yourself on the back.😃🙏🌻 you're a true inspiration!
Would you ever consider doing a video or Livestream on how to survive this summer's sky high inflation? Like what to stock up on, how to use grains and dry beans, etc.? I am very worried about what's coming our way 😔🙏
That looks good! You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Doing the airfryer way!! Yummy, yum! Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!🥘🍲🌭🌮🍕🍟🍿🥗🦐🍝🍠☕🗽🚑🚒🚓
Love your recipes Laura! So easy for this mom of two little ones to quickly whip up and know they will love it. I’m dying to know the name of the sauce pan you used for the rice? I love the long handle and looking to purchase new pans. Thank you!
