Tried this recipe and I must say, the best sugar cookie I've tasted till date. Holds its shape & bakes beautifully. I added orange zest & a little orange juice to replace the lemon & it tasted fantastic! Thank you for a keeper of a recipe Jemma!
hi Jemma my 4 yr old just wanted to say hi! and we love your tutorials. she loved the heart cookies and we will definitely be trying them I love anything lemon.
Hi Jemma, I made these for valentines and improvised using a mason jar tightener cause I don't have any cutters >_> Your halved recipe made 9 large cookies but they look so delicious, I'm going to make a full batch soon!
I love this idea for my bakery next year! Or even for the holidays this year. Thanks Jemma - I just discovered you and your videos. You are an inspiration for my bakery. When I get to London in 2018 I hope to drop by your cupcake shops. Bless you!
Hey Jemma, I wanted to ask, could you possibly let us create and translate subtitles/cc for your videos? They are extremely helpful for people with hearing impairment, and also for people who don't speak english. Unfortunately the automatically generated subs don't work quite well, let alone their automatic translations. Please! (btw I love your content) +CupcakeJemma
I made these and they turned out amazing, my only tip is make sure the ganache is completely cool. I made 7 cookies with the amount of dough but had extra ganache, no problem though!
Cupcake Jemma, you are so creative with adding lemon zest into your cookies because of the flavour of the sweets can you please make something like a galaxy cake please?
I love your channel so much and would love to visit crumbs and doilles one day my favourite one of your recipes is the maltesers cupcakes and the salted chocolate cookies please reply x
I've never seen these type of candies before because I don't live in the U.K. Here in America, we have something similar to those, but they are called conversation hearts and they are much smaller.
wooooo, hi Jemma! can't wait to make one of your cakes, what's your favourite... mint choc chip? thank you for a great channel and your tips and tricks x
Super cute, but I don't know anyone who likes the taste of fondant. I love your videos, and would love to see cookies done in a frosted version. I prefer buttercream, even if it doesn't look as nice as royal. Thanks for sharing!! :)
I'm from America and I've never heard of love hearts, but honestly they look and sound delicious compared to the message hearts we have here. They're basically little "candies" that taste like sweetened chalk that has a pound of food coloring in it! 😂
Also would love a behind the scenes video or a video where you could tell us how much baking you do now in the shops and how you teach your staff all the different cakes and cupcakes? 😃
These look great! I will have to do some googling to convert the measurements and temperature because the States can't use metric. But it will be well worth it.
helloo i love your videos and i would lovee to know how to do the royal icing because i have tried and still can´t do the royal icing for the cookies, jaja loveyouu
For my best friend, I'm making the red velvet and cream icing recipe you have to make a 3 tier cake for her since her favourite type of cake is red velvet :)
Because there is a lot more cocoa butter in white chocolate, rather than cocoa solids, and it is much harder to melt. So melting it first ensures that everything mixes together smoothly! x
I've been through a bunch of websites and videos for sugar cookie recipes . Most of them need to be chilled . ( I am actually don't have time for that) . So which one is better ? chill or nah ? Help me!
Siti NurFalahah you don’t have to chill the the dough but chilling it does help with spreading! If you’re trying to keep an exact shape whilst baking then definitely chill the dough!
