@@SpainonaFork I made these potatoes this weekend. They were easy to make and very tasty. The hint of lemon was a pleasure to the flavor expectations and raised a potato dish to a different level. My wife had a bowlful and I added an Italian sausage on the side. I couldn't find the Yukon Gold but I used small golden potatoes and I think they did the trick. Can't wait to have some guests to offer them.

I made this today. Delicious. Had to roast an additional 10 minutes. Next time I will be sure to remove the garlic before putting the potatoes back in the oven. Also I did not marinate the potatoes with the oil until after the potatoes were roasted. Wanted to avoid the formation of acrylamide from heating olive oil in frying and roasting. My daughter warns me that this compound is cancer enhancing. Am currently being treated for esophageal cancer that I plan to kill off by only eating vegan food, doing Wim Hof deep breathing every morning, and avoiding cancer enhancing compounds. I do like your recipes, but am concerned about your practice of frying almost everything in olive oil. Should I be all that concerned?
In Spain we cook everything in olive oil, and we are number 5 in highest life expectancy, I am no doctor, but in my opinion, there is no problem at all :) much love

@@SpainonaFork Just checked: Spain is BELOW AVERAGE for cancer. I now believe frying in a moderate amount of olive oil is just fine. Glad you replied to me!
I love this recipe but I hate the garnish, nothing speaks for human wastefulness and greed like throwing something on the side of our food just to make it look more appetizing
Potatoes and cheese sir, do you have a breakfast meal with meat or cheese? These look great and garlic everywhere is awesome...but a little surprised to see so little cheese and meat. Thank you much, cheers
oven roasted potatoes are soooo good, so many things you can do with them too, going to try this for sure. btw, leaving the skin on is a must, it really adds to the taste.
