Makes me think of a lemon meringue pie in cake form! Will certainly give this a try. Meringue suggested to me an old fashion dessert mountain for you to climb, a Baked Alaska! Cake base topped with ice cream covered in a fluffy comforter of white meringue that gets delicately browned and served with fruit sauce. You could even Super Size this one if your freezer space allows!

I love, love, LOVE lemony treats. Have you tried making a mini salted caramel lava cake? A restaurant I like used to serve them...the cake was a vanilla based caked, baked in a sugar coated pan to get a light caramel "crust" to it & a caramel lava, then served with salted caramel sauce on top...it was deeeelish! Just an idea...or maybe a chocolate raspberry lava cake? Thank you for showing how to make this one, though. Lemon desserts are wonderful and I've always wondered how to make lava cakes. I always thought that the center "lava" was a big blob of frozen chocolate (or caramel), placed into the cake batter before baking it. Guess I was wrong...but that's ok...I love learning new things - Especially when those things have anything to do with sweets! 😁♥️😁
what you should have done is cover the inside of the ramekin with icing sugar which will stick to the butter but will aid in the removal of the fondant(lava cake)

Urooba Ahmed Oh I didn't think it was harmful. Just trying to understand the premise. Who hasn't licked the cake spatula and been perfectly fine? Or made hollandaise? I mistakenly thought a separate filling might be plopped in the middle just prior to baking. This is great.
here is an idea, instead of adding the lemon curd to the white chocolate and butter, why not freeze a dollop of it then add a little more white chocolate to the butter mix add a layer of the mix to the bottom of the ramican then plonk in the frozen lemon curd ball add more mix bake and you will have a white chocolate fondant with a lemon curd center (you could sweeten the curd or add some booze to it as well although that would raise the freezing temp and it would take longer to freeze or not freeze t all depending on how much booze used)

Barry im not suggesting anything but do you tag your videos or? Im not super sure how youtube search results work but i can NEVER find one of your videos after ive watched it. I tried to look up this video by typing "lemon cake my virgin kitchen" because i forgot that it was a lava cake and it took me 20 mins to find it
So the idea behind "lava cakes" is that the mixture is really "liquidy" and you must not let it cook all the way through? I mean, I do realize that none of the ingredients is like actually raw, but it's kinda... I guess it gets on my "food fear" of eating something that seems like it wasn't cooked enough
