500 overall, not including safety (cage, seat, tyres) the car can be taken apart and have all it's accessories sold to reduce the cost. as long as you can prove it, it passes. OR, make a ludicrous, super cheaty rolling grenade, like a viper v10 powered rolls royce.... or a kinner radial 5 cylinder powered mr2.

Don't worry, the actual cost per driver per event is closer to $1000. And yes, we have had our team duct-taped to a car. LeMons is a party where a race happens to break out.

Im not sure having this much fun is legal. And when you said "dodge daytona" ,ive gone "WHAAAAAT!" , then saw the pic of what over here(aus) is a mitsubishi starion. Massive letdown.
