Thanks for the map of the course showing Lee as he does a lap. There are a lot of broadcasts of races where this isn't done. This makes the viewing way more interesting.

Stuff breaking is part of the fun. That was a sketchy spot to end up, glad nothing ended up happening. Honestly the viper/TA content is my favorite on the channel, so looking forward to the next!

10:30 I had an instructor warn me once that exit eats Corvettes and vipers, you can see the rubber from every driver who thought they could give it more throttle than the track could take pushing into the wall. Wild to see a top notch driver like Lee feeding it throttle on a wet track and the back end sliding out and catching it. Great video!

Trans Am racing is one of my favorites and the fact that you get to be so involved with it and so many other projects is amazing, Road Atlanta is one great track. Back in the 80’s, I meant Tom Gloy and he was involved with Ford and I was a Ford parts manager and we would supply him with the factory front windshields that they were required to use back then, and boy he went through a lot of them, sometimes 2-3 a weekend of racing. I did not know Justin Marks raced trans am, he just started his own nascar cup team with co owner Pittbull, it’s called Stack House racing with Daniel Saurez as driver. What a great video, thanks Kevin.

Still amazed at the consistency of Lee and that car. Watching telemetry you can see him hitting identical speeds in the same turns and nearly matching engine rpm at the same points on the track. THATS a man thats been driving a long time in the same car to know it that well. You dont get much more dialed then that. Just glad to hear both he and the car are safe n sound ready to go another day.

Your killing it brother. The craftsmanship of your builds. The top notch crew chief and putting the kids first, you have a lot on your plates just know you have a lot of people supporting and praying for you keep on keeping on man.

Road Atlanta is my home town trek that I learned to love, at the time, SCCA racing. Loving seeing all these cars out there enjoying that fantastic course.

Road racing video with Lee and the viper this morning. Dont mind if I do. I'm suprised they didn't do anything considering where the viper broke and came to a rest. Thats definitely a bad spot to be for Lee or anyone else if they're going a little too fast coming down from turn 12. Im glad you only got away with a few minor scrapes

Racing in the rain at road atlanta is another experience. The paint gets really slick. Turn 12 is definitely not a place you want to have an issue. Lots of commitment.

Amazing video! I’ve met some of those guys in your class. Lou is an interesting guy, especially on race day. Anything in the low 1:30s is no joke around RA for that class. A 1:29 is moving! I just watched the full race on the Trans Am RU-vid channel. That was a tough break right at the end, but not as bad as it could've been as you said. Survival is a wholly appropriate way to describe that race. Looking forward to more Viper content.

Thats just "Atlanta Dew". I used to run there back when I was with Salleen. Of course a lot has changed. The barrier walls were Green and white. The walk bridge was at the end of the straightaway and we pitted on the other side of the track. On the restart, it was "Rit Meister" Boris Said. (Who else) I really loved that track, many good memories. Thanks for the vid!

Boris Said was one of my favorite drivers growing up!! that car was badass!!! An interview with Lee Saunders one day would be awesome!! Tough break with the trans but glad it wasn't worse!!
