Slippin’ n’ slidin’ in your current boot situation? That’ll be a thing of the past with the Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof!
We took the beloved Boulder Boot Waterproof and amped it up a few levels with an All-Terrain/Slip-Resistant Rubber Outsole.
That’s right, this innovative outsole features siping grooves designed specifically to combat traction in wet and slippery conditions, just like your winter tires. This means you can confidently tackle any hike, explore any terrain, and conquer any adventure Mother Nature throws your way.
But wait, there’s more! Above the rubber outsole, we've incorporated an EVA midsole that offers exceptional cushioning and comfort. Say goodbye to tired feet, even on those all-day treks through rugged landscapes.
The upper is crafted from genuine oiled leather, giving your boots a timeless and durable look. Inside, a fully-waterproof membrane stands guard, ensuring your feet stay dry in ALL weather conditions. No more soggy socks or uncomfortable hikes in the rain!
Not much can beat the comfort, versatility, and traction that you'll find in the Boulder Boot Grip Waterproof.
Coming this fall // stay tuned!

Dear Lems, Please consider designing a steel-toe safety boot! It is very hard to find work boots which hold the shape of the foot / zero drop principles in mind. I reckon a safety rated adaptation of your boulder boot would be a popular option. I would buy many pairs. All the best!

I second this. Maybe a little bit thicker leather, composite toe, slightly more cushion, and I would prefer not waterproof and no lining (just leather Ron the inside like other work boots). Waterproof linings frequently wear out and my feet get soaked anyway from sweat when I'm working. That would be the perfect work boot and it does not exist.

I second this. Add an EH rating to it as well.@@Channel-kc9dh

Please do as this man asks. I would second the no WP lining. Or at least sell it as an option.

My only complaints with the Boulder boot have been heel slippage and grip. These not only look nicer than the Boulder boot, but they address half my issues with it. Of course, when I got my Boulder boots, they were much cheaper than they are now, and they were on sale.

I have had a pair of the Boulder Grips for about a month and worn of a dozen hikes of three to eight miles. I have also worn these each day for at least one of my dog city walks. Not bad in the city but for hikes, I am done with this boot. Don’t get me wrong the fit is great, I worn through standing water of a few inches and through snow. But the grip is actually the issue. If the hike trail has a section the is hilly and the ground is wet, these shoes are skates. Think of taking an old pair of Converse on a slick surface. With Altra Lone peaks on the same trail, I had a bit of slip. But with the grip. Needed trekking poles to not end up on my bum on every step down the trail and forget going up unless I wanted to walk off trail which causes trail erosion. Going to keep these for the dog walks as for those they are ideal. But I have to warn that these are not safe in areas where the ground is saturated and there can be lightly muddy (say first half inch of top soil is mud). Going to order some Summit and try as part of the reason I like these boots is the fit is great and they can be worn when going through some standing water or across a mountain spring both common in the Appalachian trails.

When the sole is worn down, are we able to take them in to shoe repair or is this something we have to reorder?

Wish you guys made this stuff more available in Canada. I was about to buy these boots and don't mind paying around $200-250 CAD, but after taxes/duties/shipping, it would have cost me just over $400. Hopefully adding to more retailers soon!

I agree I'd like to see them become available in Canada, but 400$? That's surprising, for me it only came up to 300$ with shipping/taxes/duty.

@@daniell7998 I just checked again. The boulder summit waterproofs in the rugged bark leather come to a total of $388.39 w/ shipping, duties and taxes.

My favorite boot is getting an upgrade T_T I was going to buy the Summit but I guess I should just wait for this one when it comes out mid-october. I did notice that the Summit mentions snow and mud in its description but the Grip does not. Does this mean this one is less suited to snow/mud than the Summit?
@CptAngelADVlogs
@CptAngelADVlogs 9 месяцев назад
The Summit has more aggressive lugs so it should be better for snow and mud but the sole is huge and inflexible which most people disliked, which is why thankfully we finally get a WP boulder boot with a sole that isn't overkill. This should be amazing in the wet judging from the tread pattern.

Just received mine but had to return them, sadly. They just aren’t wide enough or tall enough at the mid foot. If the were shaped like the primal Zens they might work. I was really hoping they would fit, I can never find shoes for my hobbit feet!

Which boot is better on ice, slippery soapy tile floors, or polished wet concrete? the summit or the grip? I am replacing my old leather work boots with a barefoot boot.
@notisac3149
@notisac3149 8 месяцев назад
If I had to guess, the grip would likely be better on surfaces that are smooth, flat and slippery like soapy tile floors or slick ice since it would have a wider contact area. As soon as you go on something rougher like mud, snow, sand, gravel, etc, the summit is much better suited to take those on because of the traction lugs.
