now this takes me back to the true old school days when raves where held in warehouses and under bridges. Shit I went to one at Madison Square Garden where a riot broke out because they oversold the place....the nineties were the days of Frankie Bones The Creator and of course Lenny Dee along with SpaceGirl, Heckle & Jeckle, Gonzo, Micro, Adam X Jeff Mills, Josh Wink and way too many more to name.... long live the DJs that paved the way to the world of hardcore and trance today it truly is a rave new world!
Andy Gabber Wylde, yes it was Electric Circus at MSG in 1995. I truly miss those days of the early to mid 90s when you could just be yourself at a rave but as 2000 approached clubs fashion and bottle service became the driving force in NYC which I embraced along with many others until 2003 when SF was shut down and it was all down hill from there.
Andy Gabber Wylde I got there early myself and was immediately pulled aside by 2 narcs asking what I had for sale I didn't say anything and just danced my way into the crowd to enjoy my disco biscuits and licks in the company of what seemed to be thousands of other ravers. It was a great night for sure though one I will always remember
Andy Gabber Wylde I second that, those will always be the best times in my life because of exactly what you said. We got to see the start of it all and 22 yrs later even though it's commercial and I don't like all of today's EDM it is still going strong and kids today can have the experience we did at places like ultra and tomorrowland festivals
This is from a double CD he did with Manu le Malin, who did a more mid tempo hardcore mix but was equally excellent. Played the shit out of this in the 90s...
GRANDE LENNY DEE!!!! 051 MELTEDDOG FELSINEI 76.... io ho avuto il piacere di sentirlo dal vivo in SALA2 NUMBER ONE /COCORICO E POSSO DIRE CHE ERA UNA "GUERRA" DELLA MADONNA!!!!! TANTA TANTA TANTA ROBA!!!!!!
I remember the days back in 1988 wiv the illegal Acid House Raves and Clink street club in London. Let's go let's jump let's move, yes...................Come on. MC Chez. Martha's, Swansea, Wales, UK.
@@micah1368Lenny Dee used techno and hardcore. The stuff at the start was called Scottish techno. Techno widespread common term at 90s rave in English speaking world for this.
