You can see the admiration all over Trevor’s face! Trevor is such a intelligent, talented, and beautiful person... he has provided us with reliable news and made us laugh when Nothing was funny. I am so happy I got to see him truly enjoy an interview with someone who is obviously someone he deeply admirers and relates too!
Lenny said something so profound I had to pause the video and think for a moment. When he said that your relationship with someone can continue to evolve even after they are no longer here. I had never thought about it that way.
If you are Lenny Kravitz you are all: calm, cool, respectful, and all beautiful. What a gorgeous man! And what's heartwarming Trevor is all smiling throughout and in awe. Life is beautiful and I ain't even American from an English speaking country!

I was born to a white mother and black father in the 50's....but we were brought up to be proud of our biracial family....it was a beautiful childhood! Wouldn't want it any other way...best of both worlds!
They both are poc with white fathers and have strained relationships with their fathers, and they both absolutely adore their mothers. I'm glad Trevor was able to have this interview 🥰

I like his chill nature. He's definitely someone I could walk up to and just talk existential stuff with cuz he looks like he would have a pretty good range of the world like that. Sometimes it just takes us but to pause and have a quiet time to realize what's important. That I think is one blessing with this virus. We always too busy so we don't get time to pause.
Lenny Kravitz made a song called "Sister" that impacted me profoundly and positively back as a teenager in 1995. Y'all should check it out. I'm grateful to hear this story about him and his father and how he's worked to improve his and others' lives. Bless up Lenny Kravitz!
I was blown away by that tune! And really, that whole album. "Are You Gonna Go My Way" was the gateway to so much rich, deep, hard rocking music!! So soulful!! And what a cool Mom he had!! I listen to Thinking of You every year for my Granny's birthday (and on other days, of course).

I used to wake up and immediately go to social media and the news which triggered stress and cortisol. I now wake up and the first thing iI do is watch this video EVERY day and it sets the mood and tone for the day. I’m trying to live my life in a constant state of gratitude!!

I miss my mom, and i treated her like shit when she was alive, we started coming back around and I BEGAN to see her for what she was, a human being. it wasn't until after I lost her and i started looking through all of our pictures, and i saw that in not one of them was she ever looking at the camera, every pic had her staring at me with an expression of such awe and love. I found out to late that she was my biggest champion because she did it from the background allowing other people to steal the limelight. I hope she knows I finally got it and I am so ashamed and so much more in love with the woman that took her shirt and shoes off in the middle of the street during a rainstorm in San Francisco and gave it to a homeless woman that was left in the rain with nothing more than a ripped shirt and no shoes. that was my mom. i was so lucky.
Dang i grew up with Lenny Kravitz. He was such an icon when i was a teenager. Now I’m in my early 40s and I’m catching up with him!!! He looks younger than me!!!! He looks like he’s in his 30s! What kind of witchery is this?! I swear to you he’s a vampire man!😅🤣
I have seen him in concert, up close, right next to me and in front of me twice. This is the most genuine and chill person I have ever been in the presence of. His energy is a soothing one. It’s interesting because it is easy to forget he is a rock legend.
