For those of you looking for a holster: In theory, the light should be wider than the rail, so it shouldn't matter. But, most holster manufacturers aren't counting on the fact that you're running a SureFire X300 Turbo on a Glock 43, so they won't make a factory holster option. You have a few options, and only 3/4 of them are good. 1) There are a few companies making holsters to accommodate this combo with larger lights, others have noted them in the comments 2) Leather light-bearing holsters. This one is the bad option, leather isn't a great idea for striker-fired guns without manual safeties because it can deform its way into the trigger guard over time. 3) Custom kydex. Get your gun set up, take it to a local shop that does custom kydex and have a holster made. You're gonna need to know what you want from the holster, in terms of suppressor height sights, an optics cut, cant, clip location and type, retention, etc. They will most likely be able to help you if they do good work. 4) This last one is a bit of a guess, amd only works for one combo. You *might be able to run a Raven Concealment Vanguard 3, which indexes off of the light instead of the gun. This only works for SureFire X300 lights, and the fact that this rail adapter drops the light a little lower than normal, may not provide adequate trigger guard protection.

Fit on a Glock 36?

Nice idea...tried it on my Gen. 2 G23 (no rails) and it fit fine. Installed an Olight Baldr mini light which also fits well. PROBLEM is it doesn't fit into a holster... Yes, I bought a IWB holster specifically designed for this light and my gun...however, the light sits lower than it would if it were mount on the frame rails on a newer Glock. These Rail Adapters and a light will not allow you to use a holster unless you want a custom made holster I guess... Should be mentioned in the video, but isn't.

Anyone else realize that the magazine extension that Lenny shows off on the g43 is actually from Shield Arms? Which is not an extension that is sold by glockstore. I know this because I own an extension from them, and they always put their shield logo on the bottom. You can see it clearly at 00:46 and 11:12 on the video.

Should we use lock tight on the picatinny rail?

That is a very cool work around to be able to fit a light but a downside to it would be that it covers the serial#. I think it would be possible for them to have a window cut out on it, half on each side so when they come together on the gun there is a rectangle opening for the serial#.

So with this rail and the TLR-7a, there isn’t a plate that will fit in any of the grooves. So at that point the light is just holding on from the tightness of that one little screw. In which case it can and will just slide off the “rail system”. Suggestions??

While I do like the TLR6 for my G26, I find the lack of a rail system inhibits the ability to maintain zero on the laser. Because of the nature of mounting it to the trigger guard, you can push the zero right or left when turning the system on.

I wish they made a light that would sit more flush. I'm particular about that kind of stuff. That TLR-7 looks awkward on it.

I can not bring myself to buy a 43 . Something about a single stack glock is not right. I have my summer cc gun as a 26. Now I have ham hands do they make anything . That can go on the rail to hold my fingers ?

With the new supreme court ruling on 2A rights, living in california where the gun roster exists and can only (for now) get my hands on gen 3 glocks, do you think its worth it to buy a gen 3 glock now knowing thag the cali gun rosters days are numbered? Further, say i do buy a gen 3 glock today, lest say i need to buy a part 5 years from now due to it breaking or malfunctioning on my gun, will gen 3 glocks still be supported?

Vote Magill 2020! I've got a serious question though. I'm building an ss80 and I'm having trouble finding info on either a rail adapter or just a flashlight for the frame. I really like the look of the new nightsticks, but it definitely doesn't fit the ss80's modified trigger guard. Is there a solution?

SOMEONE needs to make cheap, 3D printed, plastic, two piece shrouds that can screw together on an attachment rail to give their “tactical glock” that smooth draw, sleek look. I HATE all these new generations of pistols give you a rail, even when a lot of people never use them. I would buy 3 rail shrouds for different pistols i own because i crave that classic aesthetic.
