We test a number of weapon lights from Streamlight, Olight, and Inforce on our new Glock 48 MOS to see how they fit. Find Your Light-Bearing Holster: werkz.com/ Download our Low-Light Defense Guide: werkz.com/inde...
Wowww thank you! I was looking around for the 48 with a rail and just assumed that those lights (TLR and O) would fit the same as they do with the 19. So glad I saw this ahead of time!
@@cryptochris247 you're very welcome I had one on my regular Glock 43X that didn't have a light rail but when I got my Glock 43X mos my Olight balder mini RL laser light combo didn't fit 100% right and I got an adapter from recovery tactical and it fits perfect. Glad I could help.
hey man, I have a 43x mos + olight mini 2 setup, and I 3d printed a piece to add on the rail, but I couldn't find any holster that will fit this. Do you carry 43x mos as well? Do you mind send me the link of your holster?
Thank you all very much for making this video. I was just starting to consider an MOS pistol. And as I was wondering about lights and holsters. I thought of the balder mini and was hoping that might work. Thanks again.
and im over here bummed out for a min thinking i was happy with the regular 43x and get the GR43 rail mount . well i sure ordered the GR43 and the pl mini 2 light. no longer need to get rid of my 43x hehe
I know you're getting a shit ton of snark in this comment section, but I really appreciate the vid. I waited a year for them to put rails on the dang gun, and now, I'll be waiting another year+ for a light that would fit on the gun, and no doubt I'd be overpaying buying a light that only fits one gun. The surefire price is just silly, and it's gonna stay silly for a while. I'd rather just get a regular width Glock.
I found that out too but a recover rail specifically the OR43X this one is for the 43x mos with the rail the other one they have is the GR43x I think is what it’s called, but that’s for the 43x wothout the factory rail but they both fit all lights but get the one for the gun you have make sure you look to make sure so you get the right one😊
SHEESH... 2 years later and its still only the XSC and the TLR-7 Sub that fit this dang rail. Guess what did we expect, with such an emphasis on size with the 43x and the 48...
That just answered my question, I had a Glock 43X and had a tactical response rail adapter to fit my baldr mini laser/light combo which worked great, but I just recently bought a G43X mos and was wondering why my baldr mini wasn't fitting right, thought I was doing something wrong but this video let's me know what is wrong.
For the time being so I can carry my 43xMOS, I'll try a conglomeration thin steel shims, squishy rubber, small kydex strips, or even strips of electrical tape. Trex arms has a 3d print file for adapters, maybe you could sell us some of those for our already owned WML.
I just got my 43X and sent you an email 📧 asking about which holster you have and which light. I’ll cancel my baldr mini order. Thanks for this video!! I’m still looking for a light holster combo for my 43X MOS
@@Qwayzei I used metal shims to make it work but ended up returning it. They would have too make an adapter for it to fit. TLR 7 sub is releasing in April. Have a pre order in for it.
Yeah, It was obvious that compact lights weren't going to fit these "single stack" slim line guns. No surprise at all. What are they going to post next? My RMR and Holosun 507c don't fit these guns either? My G19 holster doesn't fit this gun? WTF? 🤣
Just trim your fenders and add wheel spacers 🤣 Lets see 330 for a tiny 350 limen xsc vs about 100 for an 800 lumen handheld sure fire combat light..... thats such a hard decision....... not....
There are now a few different aftermarket rail solutions for the G43x/G48, all of which place the lights in slightly different spots. As a result, we don't currently plan to build for any aftermarket rail systems.
Agreed that adapters can be made for Olight and Streamlight, and probably others... but each adapter is unique and can position the light differently. And I assume you mean PL-Mini Valkyrie 2, not the PL-2 Valkyrie, which is a completely different Olight. Yes, their naming is confusing. :)
There are many internet "hacks" out there, but as they both come out of the box, the answer is no it won't properly fit. Glad we could get you informed so you didn't end up disappointed.
Why would lights made for a double stack fit on a single stack? obviously the lights are gonna be too wide. You need to make a video to figure that out?
I guess I didn't know there were "single stack" and "double stack" lights. Or that all Glock single stacks would use the Glock single stack rail sizing. Oh wait... us.glock.com/en/pistols/g36 Or that 9mm single stacks might use a standard rail... www.springfield-armory.com/xd-series-handguns/xd-s-mod-2-osp-handguns/
hello, i have a new g43x mos, it has the rail and the new tlr6 (code 69286) with rail attached to it, and also has a reddot rms shield on it, do you guys have an holster that can fit all of it?
Yes, we released that last week. Please check out our holster finder at werkz.com/ We've also posted a video comparing the TLR-6 to the TLR-7 Sub at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DGew8yqNWII.html
Go to recover tactical they sell an adapter that snaps over your rail on the 43 XMOS and you can fit the Balder mini. Then good luck finding a holster for it because everyone says custom-made holsters, but they’re really not. They make what they got the molds for May gonna make shit for you
For a close range carry gun, seems like it would be cheaper and smarter just to get a standard 43x or 48, pay about $250 and install guide rod laser for it. Lights are nice and all but they add a lot of clunk to a gun that’s made intentionally small and lightweight for a reason. Just my opinion. The only reason I’d buy an MOS would be for a red dot, not for a crappy rail that doesn’t fit anything. Lol
It’s almost like Glock and BMW are sleeping in the same bed: “We’ve worked so hard to give you what you want, which is exclusivity. Now here’s the optional shit-sandwich package with the actual solution you deserved from the beginning...which comes in either virtue signal gray or humblebrag green for an additional 20%. Welcome to our members-only club.”
@@WerkzHolsters what the heck? October? This is three months later. I just checked a few distributor's websites and no one has any reviews for them. I wonder what the hang up is? Let us know if you get it in and what you think of it. It ain't easy to put a properly fitted wml on this gun!
Not a helpful video at all. Its titled as if you’re going to give us options. Instead, the video consists of “none of our lights fit.” Waste of my time.
