You should always use 2 memory modules (2 channels), it makes the memory twice as fast. Using only 1 SoDIMM is a poor choice. So if you want 16GB, buy and install 2 pcs. 8GB etc.

Changed RAM from 8gb to 16gb. Performance is the same AND the screen cracked on one of the corner plus I have like 4 black spots on screen… what a waste.

Whoever designed these new style pc is a clown...its not easy to access the components.

Este equipo es muy bueno, lo malo de los diseñadores es que tuvieron la genial idea de dejar el borde de la pantalla sin protección alguna al momento de abrirlo. Acá en Chile incluso en un servicio técnico especializado partner de Lenovo nos rompieron el LCD. Es buen equipo, pero si piensas hacerle un upgrade en algún momento, no es la mejor opción como marca frente al riesgo de dejarlo inutilizado.

What a POS idea.Upgrading RAm is so basic and this POS is impossible. It's easier getting abalone off of rocks trying to get this thing open Cracked my screen now unusable. A pox on the designers and $500 out the window

Well, I did it. ...... eventually. 1st time - I tried starting PC, but it would not turn on. (I was pushing on the "black pad", instead of the gold push button on the board.) 2nd time - figured that I needed to close up the case to get it to work.... nope. Button on case was indented too much....did not turn on. 3rd time - played around with the back case push button. Carefully..... It just needed a little coaxing. Now ok. Button was almost flush with the back case. Perfect. 4th time - closed it all up...........and realized that I did not put all the screws in!!!! 5th time - a charm. All worked fine. Just wish I put 2 sticks vs 1 stick on ram. No way opening it again. Notes: 1. Yes, I do have one screw extra. So, just taped to the back of the case. If I ever get back into it, I'll put it in. 2. Each time the process got easier. Mostly because opening the case got easier. Make sure you have a BIG screwdriver to exert a lot of torque... and I mean a LOT of torque. Once it opens, you can then pry open the case...be careful... I used plastic car tools for interior removal.

I just installed nvme on my 22ada6, whenever i install the OS, the nvme is detected and install os progress finised, but, it cant boot from nvme, then i check bios, and there is no nvme detected. Why?

you cannot plier the screen part. i just cracked my screen. you can only plier the bottom part, then pull open the back cover form the bottom straight away.

Other than FULLY turning the bottom screw, which does nothing but either hug or push the cover away from the body, here are some instructions I hope you find helpful. Location of attachment points: BOTTOM: Measuring 1 centimeter from the bottom corner along the bottom edge on each side, you will find one plastic hook attached to the back case clipping onto the internal plastic frame. A very thin flat blade screwdriver should release it. Otherwise no other hooks or snags along the bottom. SIDES: This is where the real fun begins. Strangely the back cover has inset attachment points, instead of between the case edge and the screen. 4 U-hook anchor points located at: 1). Horizontally: 1.8cm in from the outside edge, Vertically: 7.8cm up from the bottom outside edge 2). Horizontally: 1.8cm in from the outside edge, Vertically: 14.4cm up from the bottom outside edge 3). Horizontally: 1.8cm in from the outside edge, Vertically: 19.5cm up from the bottom outside edge 4). Horizontally: 1.8cm in from the outside edge, Vertically: 28.8cm up from the bottom outside edge These are the MOST difficult to disengage. Simply running a guitar pick or screwdriver or slidey bar between the edge and screen doesn’t work. In the past, I’ve been too gentle on the edges and like a surgeon separated the screen glass from the screen digitizer ruining the entire PC. My suggestion is to stick a screwdriver or a block of something inside the stand hole, between the cover and the body to keep up the pressure on the back case as you go along. Since there is nothing to release along the visual edges, you have to pull the bottom, slide along the side, relax, pull, slide, relax, technique along the bottom and edges until something eventually gives. Hopefully, it won’t be your patience. Fingernails are sometimes the best weapon. TOP: There are 8 cover plastic nibs spaced evenly along the top edge, 4 to the left and right of the camera slide switch. You might try inserting a very thin guitar pick along that edge. I didn’t because I was too afraid of killing another PC again. Getting the plastic cover away may be tricky. There are no delicate cables to worry about. You might get a string of rubber coming out from between the side edges but you can lightly glue them back, I used a slight brush of Elmers rubber glue. This is the worst case I’ve ever seen for repairs. The attachment points are way too hard and certainly not made to easily open. I would never suggest this PC because the next repair guy might have to buy you a new one out of his own pocket. Good luck friend, you're going to need it. 😄😉

very bad design, you can damage the panel when trying to upgrade ram. I guess it's designed so the user can't upgrade on their own, thanks lenovo.

I've installed 32gb abd the pc recognized it but in "high" demand tasks (zoom meeting) it frozes and go to blue screen. I tried to open it by my self to take out a module and see but that PC is a trap, it seems too easy to break the screen even a guy from Lenovo who tried to open it breaked a small part of the corner. Also I think it goes to blue screen by heat but I cant see the state if the processor without open.

yo tengo lio co n una ideacentre AIO 3 24ARE05 al taparla no pudecasarle los laterales a ras de la pantalla, me da vaina que se rompa... la otra fue que le amplie a 12 gb de ram traia 4 le puse 8. las reconoce pero quedan reservadas para hardware 8.8....

If you are opening this for the first time and get stuck on the one screw in the case. Just brute force your way in.
