😆 I also don't wanna give up on mine.. I first had a problem with the screen. Had to get it fixed. Now it's the battery. But in it's defense, I've had it since 2018
I have same laptop and battery does not retain charging. I tried 6 batteries but still it does not retain charging. What is the issue I don't understand.
I have this exact laptop, - running Windows 10 - but it is running so slow it is virtually un-useable. It has slowly gotten worse over time. I hate to give up on it. Is running super-slow a sign of a weak battery? I am also thinking about up-grading the RAM while I have it open to replace the battery, as I think it only has 4 GB of RAM which I think is low for Windows 10.
If you have 4GB Ram, it's not the same laptop. Mine has 12GB. Yes, 4GB is not enough to run Windows 10. Also, maybe if your drive is too full, replace that with a larger one?
