I like to tinker and DiY some things. Usually they're repairs of some sort. When I think of it, and have time, I'll record myself and share my experience here. You may find product reviews, Car Maintenance tips, videos on motorcycling and other stuff.
Interesting. I have a 2012 (bought used), recently started having issue with the driver's side sliding door, kind would get stuck like in this video but now I can't even get it to open. Would I be able to see that spring even with the door closed (from the inside)?
Tks for your video about the clips removal and other info. Indeed, the spring was detached at one end .. the trick was to screw it back to the plastic piece. I used a rope to fish it out of the tube to be able to do that. A detail: I removed only the round end rod cap, not the flat, easy to do. Next was to put the right tension with the treaded rod and obtain the right shade length. That was a series of trial and error but finally got it right. Glad other did it quickly, it took me 1h30.

Milwaukee C18HZ Today I fixed the same saw that I paid $1 for. The machine worked unevenly (fast/slow). I washed the master switch in alcohol and blew out the switch with compressed air. Now it works like new! Greetings from Switzerland
Thanks you for this video! I had the exact same problem and Bissell didn't offer much in the way of help. A replacement on the open market now costs 50 USD for my model, so a $9 investment in the right glue was worth the risk. Worked like a champ, and I'm back in business.
I have the same plastic case shield. With crash bars a pain in the ass to get off. Took my dremel with a cut off wheel and cut enough away so the adjustment is an easy access.
Im Not a professional. I chose to attempt this myself as paying for the repair was more costly than replacing the lens. You certainly can try it but, it could result in you destroying the lens.
Anybody want to tell me how I'm supposed to do this without the original set I lost the original and the spare I don't have any keys for my truck how the f*** am I supposed to reprogram the new ones now
Thanks you so much, I had the same issue, was able to fix it in about two hour. Only thing missing in your video was how to remove the locking pin, I tried it was alen key, but later was able to push it out with another pin. I also superglued spring to the head so that it does not come out again.
Off to the dealer you go then. Theres a reason why you need two keys... To prevent theft. Imagine if you dropped your vehicle off for service and they could copy keys with just one. The vehicle would be at risk. Make a third copy now incase you lose a key.
@@germanpickle How were you able to cope before 2005? Some of us work on our own cars. Some of us are still men. Rare I understand. Haven't rebuilt or pulled a motor in ages. Because I'm pretty decent at maintenance. And don't whiz the wealth on new cars with hackable wifi. But I do understand the value of the chip security. I was just curious if you knew the 'workaround'. This is a car with 200k on the odometer that is all original doesn't burn any oil that I can tell. Smattered with shopping cart dings, scuffs, chips, paint peeling and on a damp day the years of farts are evident. But it just keeps going. The security deterrence is built-in. Even the thieves today are full of prissy vanity!!
Thanks so much for the video! In my speaker, tho it is the same model, the battery was embedded a bit differently. In order to unplug the old battery, I had to remove the front cover as well and the unscrew the right bass speaker (the one on the side, not the front). Then I could access the battery's plug easily.
Thank you so much for this video! I have the exact same problem (my daughter destroyed the screen x'D), and the exact same laptop. I wanted to bring it to a professional but unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere soooo 😅 I had no idea it was not that difficult to change a screen, plus it seems to be a very interesting thing to do 😊 Thanks for showing all the steps it reassures me a lot! :D
Gracias hno. Justo este problema tengo con un Ford Ranger 2018, espero solucionarlo gracias a su tiempo y la explicación en su video. Saludos desde Perú 🇵🇪 🇵🇪🤗🤗
When you install a replacement battery just like in the video the red and green wires on the connector are switched up. Do not splice them like op did here, you can remove the pins from the connector to the way you need.
