regarding the rare scenario where the Keyboard connecting "locking Clip" pops out..a quick work around would be to use a small STAPLES or OFFICE DEPOT plastic colored Paper clip which has enough compression force to lock ribbon onto connector.. instead of being totally messed up.

Hey Amit, thanks for the video, really helpful. I just have an issue. Like you, I am an Indian, so it really bothers me when, while making a video in English, Indian RU-vidrs speak like they are feeling extremely sleepy or unmotivated. I understand this maybe your natural voice - however, you are making a tutorial, and it is generally advisable to sound a little more clear and energetic, at least in the beginning, while making a tutorial.

Your shift button is shorting , try to clean the keyboard or buy new one. Before buying new one try to cut the wire of shift key inside the key.

Mere lenovo G580, battery hone ke baad bhi laptop bina charging ke start nhi hota. Usse charging me lagake start karna padhta hai.. Fir wo bina power ke chal jata hai. Bass starting me usse charging me lagana padhta hai

Mmmmm just put your keyboard on table and gentle slap on the back of keyboard !! You will see some dust coming out of keyboard. Clean it with a use of a brush , and also the jack. Hop this may work :)

I see that Venkat Sai1 month ago had a similar issue as mine. I spilled a little water on my keyboard (very little, shut down, dried out for a day HOWEVER). On the top row; the 1 key doesn't work, when I press "2" then 1's continually key in (ex. 211111111111111111111111111111), same thing with 3 BUT 4 through 9 work fine. On the number pad, 1 through 6 don't work, 7-9 work. When I boot up, I think the number 1 is stuck so it goes to the boot menu (it otherwise boots fine); once booted, "1" is continually typing into the password space but when I press ANY one of the number that actually still work, the "1's" will stop (ex, 1111111111111111111111111111116 then it stops). My question; is this simply a keyboard replacement issue or do I need something else replaced, something else that might be damaged? I'm on an external keyboard now and everything functions just fine. Any help would be appreciated, thank you for posting!!

After my girlffriend poured flour all over my keyboard I just wanted to shoot her but I manage to calm down and find a more reasonable solution.
