Lenovo Legion Go: 6 Month update 

I just got mine last week. There are zero issues. I use earbuds, so I could care less about external speakers. I have XL hands, so I don't have issues there. I also use my Xbox controller it does act stupid at 1st, but then after powering the controller down, it comes back no problem. I've been playing Starfield and Cyberpunk so far, so good.

does the charging indicator issue has been fixed?

When watching streaming site does wqhd screen look good or support dolby vision or something on Netflix? I like a console that can provide all my need play and movies thanks for heads up

Fps limiter , remap buttons , charge limiter are all coming in the ucoming days Ben from Lenovo just posted it on Reddit an hour ago. Next big update will be the legion space UI overhaul , better gyro and vga update.

Silly question but external PC speakers can hook up with this via aux right? I only ask this because some tech is super picky with connectors/USB compatibility. For example my Galaxy Fold 5 is awesome but it's the first phone I ever owned that will not work with any USBcables for music . My other phones-(s) work fine with USB type c to aux adapter.

Interesting. Asus took care of my stick drift issue in two weeks. No argument, sent the label, shipped it out, then got it back way faster than I thought it would. And Armory Crate is far better than Legion space. However, I love the fact that I can have a Windows tablet with my Go and the bigger screen.

For someone who's thinking of travelling a lot across borders, do you think this can replace a 15.6" laptop?

Does anyone how I can stop the mouse cursor appearing everytime I use the right thumbstick ? especially annoying while using gamepass.

Build quality is top notch. My steam deck has creaky flimsy plastic. Legion go feels very well built.

With MSI claw just hold off a bit till it hits the clearance bin. That thing is a mess that can't outperform a $300 open box Ally Z1. For me the legion go screen is the absolute best.

Again another appreciated review. I have the LGo for around 3 months now and use it everyday. To be fair havent used any other handheld but LGo is a great device and highly recommended.

Have a Steam Deck, but looking to get a windows device. Question is, can person that isn't super PC savvy use it and make it work well?

If someone makes better joycons for the Go. I absolutely hate the FPS joycon button layout.

If you give it full power its quite a bit more powerful than the steam deck I had a Steam deck and loved it but my go can run games much better

i was thinking of getting one as a glorified visual novel player for my japanese language studys. any input on that. surface go seems too weak despite being perfect size. surface pro too big despite prob having the power to handle just that but also seems over priced if i wanna do other games in japanese that mite require a bit more power. and everything else is either a giant 2 in 1 compared to the smaller tablet form factor i want. or is not as powered as i want it if it is a rando no name windows tablet. i prob am thinking of using it joystick less. ty in advance

From what I know z1 extreme on both LeGo and ally bring 50% to even double the performance of steam deck in games, ofc with higher tdp You keep saying 3% difference, if that was the case everybody would be buying the deck I am aware that on lower wattage steam deck takes the lead Also, cooling-wise I never noticed any thermal throttling, although I never had any longer gaming sessions I have LeGo for almost 5 months now, just for refference

It was confirmed by lenovo that accessories coming in summer... You have miss that 😉🤷 I like your opinion and absolutely agree with you that it is just opinion of users what suite to tham.... Lego and ally are same in performance... But rest is just what fit to users... Claw and steam are completely different and claw need much more improvemnt but need time from lunch as eceryone else had. Lego and ally could have better ram... 16gb is bottle neck from my opinion and should gave 32gb but question is how much price would increase. I like nexus comparison of heat issues of all 3 and waiting j2c review as they are testing it now. Overall i see future in this devices with 2nd, probably 3rd version. There is no overall winner... All is related to personal preferences

I don't have a bigger channel , but I bought the go twice and I hated it . From the software to ergonomics everything was bad . Screen is great I agree and that's it . I would rather take a hit of 10 fps and have a better battery with console like experience . Deck oled all the way . Also ally was never like this halfbaked . Only issue was on the bios which they fixed . Space is like a fruit market and I hate it . No vendor should expect a consumer to download and search for latest drivers . I had a very very bad experience. Although I have the Lenovo yogabook 9i which I love , this was straight out bad product from Lenovo.

I wanna buy the LGO so bad, but the battery life on every windows handheld is so garbage compared to the deck oled 😭

Lenovo is cooking updates every month, being a hater is fine, but be objective, they support their machine. Not ideally, but they try their best Another part is that i personally hate is bias towards certain layouts. It comes i believe mostly from confirmation bias listening to big utube creators, however, when i do compare to what i played as a kid (nintendo, psp, psp go (mah fav)) People have to judge purely on their personal feelings on the device. So, i would say that lenovo's not ideal, but its really fine, especially love back buttons that has to be twisted maybe a bit, and their touch pad, that companies in 2024 coping. Guys, just enjoy the controllers u have, and if u really want to say something bad about a certain product, be sure its ur opinion, othervise only benefits would be for a person who actually was mad or happy about the changes, its like working for another dude who brings rainy weather when u demand deep down sunny days. upd: little about my bias, Lenovo Go model (i don't have it yet) looks aestheticly pleasing, hope new model just will bring software hardware, n only little little twist to design, cuz its Fire 🤌
