Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (2023) - It's Good But... 

I like that they cut back on bells and whistles to give us a more powerful computer. I don’t need RGB or a fingerprint reader. I don’t need a touchscreen, either. Because at the end of the day, all that matters is my games run fast and my work runs faster.

Who cares about all that superficial crap? I just want to know if its powerfull and that it doesnt look like a sports car

One of the review wrote this about Pro 5's full plastic body other than the lid. "The body flexes more than lid".

Cutting back on useless things like the fingerprint reader and RGB isn't the problem for most people who just want high quality; I don't want fingerprint readers anywhere near Microsoft or any corp regardless. It's the plastic replacing the metal and glass parts. This was a problem for me as well, having a plastic touch pad is a huge issue, especially for a PRO model, and when you're paying $3,300 to max out your laptop to get plastic parts that were originally metal, and the touch pad no longer being glass - which will wear down faster from constant use, it begs the question where the "PRO" is coming from. This isn't just a gaming laptop, it's a creators laptop as well. As a professional that spends larger budgets on professional gear, we expect high quality and longer lasting materials and internals. For these reasons I got the 2023 Legion Slim 7i Gen 8. All metal chassis, glass touchpad, better battery life. A happy medium of performance, battery life, and higher quality longer lasting materials.

Legion 5i & 7i pro (2022) is the best model had ❤️

Just got one for about 2400 USD with a 13900hx/4090. I won’t be complaining as long as it’s not dead on arrival

Having less RGB unciorn barf is precisely what makes it even more pro.

For me it’s not about the looks it’s About the performance

is this laptop good enough for 3d modeling, CAD programs and designing? just curious or is this optimized for gaming specifically ?

Display specs are not "PRO" as well

Lenovo Legion was best laptop design last year. This year is either Asus ROG line or MSI Stealth line

Well, no metal body and fingerprint are a big no to me, considering it's the Pro model. The Slim model has all of those things, so why not the Pro?

RBG matters coming from an actual legion 7 owner who is forced to upgrade after dealing with warranty. I’m paying extra money for me to lose features and barely be able to tell the difference in performance from a naked eye ?

Lol I do get annoyed that everything is being branded as "pro" or "ultra" now. Like, is it really? 🤔

Don’t forget about deleting the Thunderbolt port.

Bro watching your videos I notice there’s always a problem with every laptop you review. Some of them are obvious and a given like fan noise, battery life when gaming, and heat. If not, it’s the best.

I thought the following finger print scanner was also the power button like the slim version. Obviously not

Yeah, i want my touchscreen and my fingerprint scanner. Thats why i have a laptop 😂. Also, plastic keyboards ALWAYS feel cheap and rushed

The 4070 model on pro 7 is not worth it because they removed thunderbolt 4, rgb keyboard and glass touchpad. If you buy legion pro 7, buy 4080 or 4090

That's why I went with legion slim 7i. All the cons in this short, is there in that with a cheaper price.
