Mike, you remind me of my self being sorry for other's faults or for minor things that others don't even bother to mention. Your video was very useful and with lot's of details. If I may ask, do you buy faulty expensive devices from ebay or elsewhere for repair and sell ? If yes, what's the best place online to find such devices if not ebay ? I have tried a lot of times my luck in ebay but the vast majority of the devices I found was very old cheap laptops.

Actually I do regularly. Yes, from eBay and from local online platforms too. The only "trick" is to be very picky with what you source. But as you see, doesn't work always, even for myself.... :)

@@fairrepair_en Thanks for the reply. I also do this not regularly but I can't find new and expensive devices so the profit from buying one, fix it (if it's fixable) and sell it is negligible. That's why I asked you hopping you can advice some places other than ebay. I do use local platforms but the faulty devices market here in my country is ridiculously small in size.

@@fairrepair_en Agree....unfortunately that's the truth. Most consumers (because that's what they are, consumers) choose to trash their faulty devices and buy a new one. Not even trying to sell it for a few bucks.

Customers quite often lie. And it never is a liquid damage, or as they say " probably some small fuse"

Adjust your camera angle your head is covering the shot in a lot of the video.

Yea Mike everybody lies I bought laptops specially ask it was liquid damage , no not liquid damage you get device and it is full liquid damage and beyond repair happens me 3 times already. With del g7 7790 missing screws , all parts were good , screen tested he said when I got device I finally repaired the board after months the screen was cracked too. So nobody is honest . I stopped buying I still need to repair 2 MacBook pros a1708 and one 1706 all with lines in screen and one with SSD defect also. Also battery connector is damaged. I hate that sellers are not honest or give blur pictures.. so conclusion is everybody lies over history device. Good work man keep it going.

It is not only in Germany ppl lie about sold laptops. Only some insurance companies might (I mark might) sell some untested laptops from the customers. But I found that 99.9% of gaming or high class laptops are checked before sold as "untested". Most common fault is dead GPU etc.

What do you mean with "still don't work"? If the Capacitor was the origin of the issue, then the board should already work without it present. Without some basic knowledge it is impossible to help you, unfortunately

Hi, I found one problem. when I connect the charger to the motherboard (only the motherboard), so the mosfet transistor PQ602 starts to heat up enormously. Do you think that replacing the transistor will help me? Or there will be some other error

An issue with the +3VALW is usually a bad sign. You could check resistance to GND of PL602 to see whether there is indeed an obvious problem.

Sir I am also laptop chip level engineer I need your second opinion my problem is that Lenovo ligeon gaming laptop run ok on battery but when I plug in the charger laptop hang i opened all periphals and checked in bios mode also but problem same hanging when I plug in the charger please advise

Please specify what do you mean with "hang". Like the device"freezes" or how do I have to understand this?

I have the same problem, the screen turns black and the system freezes (nothing works) when I plug it to the charger. But works just fine on battery only and charges normally when the laptop is off. I happens even in the BIOS menu and safe mode. Did you find any solution? please share with me if you did.
