After watching your video I bought the Lenovo M9 yesterday. I just needed a simple tablet for media consumption, browsing the web, emailing, music streaming and light office work. Well, this tablet does it all. It was the Lenovo M9 or the Samsung A9, but I choose this one. Good choice!
For people reading, the samsung tab a9 is much stronger than the lenovo tab m9,lenovo tab m9 has helio g80 cpu,tab a9 has helio g99,so tab a9 is much better for gaming. Tab a9 has low resolution though
Thank you for doing such a thorough, yet calm review! I've been researching different Android tablets as my carpel tunnel hands can no longer handle my laptop or CB, and aside from email and media, all I do is write or read. This looks like a solid option!
I just got this for a cheap epub reader. Didn't know about the desaturated color option for reading. It was a pleasant surprise! If I applied a non glossy, mat screen protector it would probably look close to that boox color tablet. Other than that it's been great as a cheap but high build quality media consumption device. The Dolby Atmos sound is another surprise. It sounds good! Glad I bought it. 😊
i just got this 2 days ago, for my dad. but used it personally for a day... and ngl i liked the form factor and the actual power it has, yes it does lag and slow but heck the 3gb ver that i have can do split screen with no problem. the speakers are so good too! not to mention audio jack,,, played songs via poweramp and it sounded good too. Just wish they make a more powerful version with the same form factor or maybe 8 inch and i'll buy it...
@@chizisj what makes you think people have 8 inch phone lmao. and there's tons of people just like to use a 5-6.1 inch phone for work and dont wanna use it for everything duh
Thinking of getting this, had the 7 inch tablet and that was fine for me, broke the screen and had charging problems, would not charge, hopefully the usb c works better. The better specs of this should be more than good enough for me.
As a digital nomad, i see these guys at the airports pull out sone 11 in ipad. Its like, just use your computer. Hehe totally impractical. This is the perfect size to stuff in my bad but also, use as my main media consumption device when I'm in all these apartments and they don't always have televisions or at least in the bedrooms and watching everything on your phone actually starts making your eyes go bad so this is much better
@@TechGuyBeau I hesitate between this one for compacity and m10 3rd gen for the 1920 × 1200 display. Will use mainly for YT, little gaming and reading. Is reading comfortable with 1340 × 800?
The colors look very saturated especially when playing. Call of Duty mobile, but other than that, its a decent little tablet. If you just wanted to use it on regular stuff, that's not too intense, it can handle it.
I have the iPad Mini 6 because of its size and performance, even though I don’t care for iOS. I wish Samsung or Lenovo would make a fast 9 inch tablet.
@@Pekkuツyes good recommendation for beefier specs. But the down side is the Y700 is not meant for global usage and lacks the Android tablet experience for other regions. A global rom hack isn’t ideal and adding G services still doesn’t truly make the Android ecosystem work as expected. Also it’s a heavier device. But if you want more power it’s an option. Ideally Lenovo puts a nice snapdragon in one of these smaller global devices.
just endend a videconference with a 5 years old, smashed, abused Lenovo M7 and was starting to think to replace it... Lenovo seems still top choice to me... i beat down this poor fella of tablet in every kind of situation, dripping into engine oil for mistake, rolled under my van, just a cracked screen in the corner, nothing else, still works great with a lighter launcher, because android updates start to become too heavy to handle... 7 inch was a perfect size between resilance and my need about read technical manual video conference and so on, hope the 9 inch can't be handled in one hand only like this but i believe not...
I'm conflicted whether i should've gotten this instead the Galaxy Tab S4 but it was on a sale at 150 and i just went for it like a minute ago. Oh well. I like this form factor just a lot. Basically a phablet (as it used to be). Edit: i don't even know why i said that. I put emphasis on a large batterty & LTE (or 4G) connection to increase a devices usefullness, and thereby S4 meets my requirements. Perhaps am just excited since i used to dream about tablets but never got one beside one by 1%1 (phone carrier provider, the touch barely even works by factory, it's as thick as a brick.) I'll be mostly reading comics, lol I suppose this is quite a sweet spot considering the amoled on the s4
Not sure gaming kids would want this. This is more for Gen Xers like myself who want a media and general web browsing device. Hope no one over the age of 30 is gaming!
should i switch , so my phone screen cracked after a long time but the thing is instead of buying a new one for 100 300 dollars ish im thinking of getting a new tablet since its better for my tiny hands i have a laptop it can turn into a tablet but i dont think a 14 inch tablet with sharp edges with be a good experience also the speakers fold to the back causing it to generate more noise on the opposite side, i am a kid but im usually alone thats why i had a phone in the first place but i dont call much so whats the point of a phone when i can get a tablet that fits my tiny/large hands, idk tho maybe i could buy i will see i hope i can and i hope this will be a good experience, i dont need a good screen just nice color my laptop lenovo ideapad flex 5 has very light colors no deep colors very like bright-ish im not satisfied with the colors here i just need nice deep vibrant colors i will see if i get it i will make a new edit to tell you abt the screen and stuff also nice review
Maybe on the next generation. I believe this is the first release of this tablet. I wonder if you can request it on their site when you leave a review or something
Hi sir can this tablet handle 2 + hour of only gaming will the 3gb ram variant be enough. Cam through lot of reviews on this tab but im not wuite sure should i get it Would you suggest ?
I have one and yes, easily. It's not really a low-end tablet by any means... it's more midrange. And if you don't like it... keep your receipt most electronics have 15-30 days money back guarantees anyway. I use mine for basically watching video... no problems.
Hello, thanks for the review. Will it emulator ps2 and or GameCube? Could you try Gran Turismo 4 - ps2 and something like Luigi's Mansion - GameCube please. Thank you.
It can’t so ps2. It might pull of some more basic GameCube, but that’s just slightly out of its ideal specs. I’d says its most demanding is the Dreamcast.
