Just an FYI if you're unsure what pen your tablet supports check the product sheet for the supported pen protocols. For example the M10 plus 3rd gen supports WGP, AES 2.0 and MPP 2.0 protocols which the Precision Pen 2 also supports. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the review. How precision pen 3 performs with p12 pro? I am planning to get that tab for notes and casual drawing. Would it be good, I see a review that lines are not good with that combination and it wobbles 😐?

Umm.... Wish they would standardize their pens. It's pretty annoying how they do it. I do like my my precision pen 3 with the pro 11 generation 2.. especially an apps that smooth out wavy lines.... Quite naturally I might add. Doesn't feel like you're fighting anything

Awesome video. I looked everywhere for this exact thing. Do you know what, if any genaric pens will work. 50 bucks is too high and I want something that will work that has a small tip as opposed to the fat stylist tips?

you can get a disc tip pen. no generic pen will work quite as well as the actual active pen made for it.

thats a tablet dependant issue. the pens buttons can be customized on my p11 plus after the android 12 update which basically made the pen ui equal to the tab m10 plus gen 3.

@@Anto94_GR HDR being funky on OLED screens seems to be an all-brands problem. Samsung AMOLED also drops down to buttugly on HDR. I've even written angry letters to Netflix demanding an "HDR off" toggle option.

It is not working with p11 pro 2nd Gen! Only the pen 3 is working but *** Lenovo is not producing it anymore, it is not available neither in Europe nor in USA, just China

@@FishBeeProductions no it doesn't. Lenovo rep told me that Lenovo Precision Pen 2 (20202) doesn't have Bluetooth and it does not work with Lenovo tab P11 pro (gen 2). I already bought the pen after watching your video. Please correct yourself in the video so other people don't waste their money

Yes I second that. It didn't work with p11 pro gen2. Lenovo was not clear about that and also its instructions were basically nonexistent. :/

Yes the Precision Pen 2 works, even if it's not listed, with the Tab P11 Pro 2gen. But it lacks of Bluetooth connectivity so you can't use some options

@@FishBeeProductions well the upper one is useless, reminds me of motorola smartphones "assistent" physical button, that you can't change its function... here the stylus opens instant memo app, which is very basic, even amateurish app by Lenovo

how does it feel when writing on it? does it have noticeable delay between pen tip and what appears on the screen? i was thinking of buying this tablet for a lot of note taking since its the cheapest tablet with stylus support. s6 lite would be better with s pen but its screen and only 4gb ram is a hard pass for me.

you should be able to in the bluetooth settings once you get the pen flashing from holding down on the button

yeah thats the problem the pen doest flash when i press the upper button for about 8 seconds. The other thing is that when i charge the pen it goes from amber to white but the ligth doest go out @@FishBeeProductions

This pen Supports WGP and AES 2.0 ( Wacom WGP or Wacom Active ES 2.0) protocols so I think it will also work on Nokia Tab T21, Moto Tab G62 / Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen) plus any other Laptops or tablets that supports it. Can you make a video using it on other brand tablets and see how well it performs thanks , it would be very helpful :)

What tablet is being used in this video? Because I would rather use the precision pen 3 but it's unclear if it's compatible withe the M10 plus 3rd gen. The spec sheet says it's not but it also only lists like 2 pens and I know there are a lot of others with the same protocols that will work.

from what i can tell so far, yes, but not 100% sure

@@FishBeeProductions it also works on any devicd that is mpp, aes or wgp protocoll. mpp is commonly used by the surface tablets and other 2in1 laptops from hp for example. aes is mostly used in lenovo 2in1 laptops and wgp is used in their android tablets.
