I've been using a matt screen protector on my Samsung S6 Lite since the beginning of the year, with some different (and cheap) nibs that last about a month to six weeks. This combo made a huge difference to my satisfaction of the device -- I really wasn't happy with the glass screen feel or glare. The matt screen protector reduced the glare sufficiently enough, and there is an audible scratching sound when writing. I start university in September, and have long considered getting a larger e-ink device (I have the Mobiscribe Origin). I've also thought about upgrading to a larger Samsung device -- like the S9+ or Ultra, to then apply the same matt screen to that. A couple of days ago, I saw a Remarkable 2 in Currys -- it looked lovely, but upon trying it out, I was hugely disappointed. It was so slow and the ghosting was shocking. It seems to me that the only real benefit of an e-ink is less eye strain, and maybe, distraction free -- but the latter can easily be dealt with by setting up routines on a regular tablet device, and having a little discipline. Matt screens are certainly my choice for tablets. I always go for matt screens on my laptops. It's good to see this a direction of travel for the bigger companies, whose devices, it seems, provide more bang for your buck.

My question is if you are worried about eye strain is there a benefit to these matte screens? I think I understand the minimal glare benefit but do have that sense of your eyes just taking a break on a screen like this the way you don't an EInk screen?

The matte screen is really for making the pen feel more paper like.

Hi! I am considering this Lenovo P12 with matte display to substitute my notebook for daily and basic use such as navigation on webs and home banking when needed: nothing professional. Regarding installation of apps and programs, just home banking app, Instagram and maybe an Internet Security suite (Kasoersky, for example). Do You think that 128 Gb of storage would be enough for those purposes? Thank You so much! And please forgive me for my rusty English.....🙏

I have a question , Can we connect a wireless 3rd party keyboard and mouse combo through a dongle to USB-c connector to the tab . Because i have purchased the keyboard and mouse combo with a dongle ( reciever ) and a USB - type c connector , so does the tab connect to it or Not ??
