Hi, I am looking to use Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny as an external display for my laptop. In your video you explained we can use the monitor without turning on the PC. Can you explain how. As I have connected my laptop with Tiny wtih hdmi displayport cable but turning on the monitor from monitor ON/Off button it picks up the PC behind in the Tiny but not the display from the laptop.
Presumably the power cable plugs into the monitor, and the pc is powered from the monitor. My question is, can this cable power the pc directly? It looks like the same connector, so I assume so. The wattage is higher than the ones which come supplied with a standalone pc purchased without the monitor, but i assume its the same voltage and wont hurt the pc if plugged directly into it? The idea is it would be nice if the pc can be removed from the monitor (along with the power cord) and used with a television.
Hi Tariq, thanks for reaching out. We understand your concern, and we'd be glad to help. There are other devices that work and some don't. Like from the discussion among other Lenovo users from our Forums here lnv.gy/3pneHCG. Let us know if you have other queries. Thanks. Fraineee_Lenovo

Hello, my friend lost the Power Cable for the TIO-27 which has a Thinkcentre M720q inside whilst moving house The TIO-27 has written on the reverse of the case Power Specs of 20v and 8.5a The M720q with 8th Gen i7 likewise has Power Specs of 20v and 4.5a written on it My Question is, would a 20v 8.5a Lenovo Power Supply be the right replacement or is one with more "a" needed? (like adding them together or something)
Hi, SleepingGiant. Thanks for reaching out to us for support. We are currently looking into the case, We will keep you updated as soon as possible. Thanks. Kate_Lenovo
Thanks for waiting. The 20v 8.5a (170W) is the one you need. If you need a power adapter (power brick) we need to get the replacement part number recommended which is an identical part for best compatibility. Kindly confirm the location so that we can look it up for you. Parts number and more details here: lnv.gy/42ELiCB. Let us know how it goes. Kate_Lenovo
We apologize Johnny for the trouble however we cannot provide any options for a different brand. Please send a message to HP for further assistance. Thanks! - AS
Hi there, Freddy. Thanks for reaching out to us. Based on our support website, you may use VESA mount 100mm for the ThinkCentre Tiny-In-One 24 Gen 3 (10QYPAT1UK). For your reference, kindly visit this link lnv.gy/3X2IFIE. Rodney_Lenovo
@@lenovouk Oh, I was really hoping to find a proprietary wall mount that fits snugly into the same spot the stand goes into. The stand is made so perfectly for it, but I couldn't find anything like that on the Lenovo website.
Our apologies as it doesn't state in our support website if there's any wall mount aside from VESA mount 100mm. This mounting device can be used separately or combined with other options for secure mounting functionality. Rodney_Lenovo
@@lenovouk All good. I really appreciate you getting back to me twice. I wasn't aware I could use a 100mm Vesa mount, so I'm happy to know now I don't have to struggle to find space for it on my desk.
We appreciate the feedback. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have further questions or concerns. Have a great day and stay safe. Cheers! Rodney_Lenovo
I have a Lenovo thinkcentre model TIO22D without the tiny part installed. i also have a gaming pc, how do i connect them together? will just a standard HDMI cable work?
Hi S B! Thanks for reaching out, and we hope you're doing well. Apparently, there's no HDMI port in ThinkCentre TIO22D. Please click this link lnv.gy/3gpSpsO and go to page 2 for reference. However, you can use the Display Port to connect to your gaming PC. If you don't have a Display Port on your PC, you can use a Display Port to HDMI cable. Let us know if you have any questions. @@lenovouk thank you so much for replying. I am in Canada and seems like lenovo team here is confused about the model. They have sent total of 18 screens in two orders but all are non touch. Identifying proper model number will be great help. Also can you suggest the similar models with that price range? I want to use for Point of Sales System. Thanks.
Hi Farrukh, I'm afraid I do not see a touch model available currently via the Lenovo Canada store. Apologies for the incorrect models being sent. For help with your order, please contact our customer service team on 1-866-426-0911 Option #2. Thank you Joe
Hi Joe! We're glad to know your interest in one of our products. Currently, built-in DVD burner is not an option. Also, it will not be shipped unassembled. -Maru_Lenovo
Thanks, in our application the internal DVD/CD burner is important. Looks like the TC M70A might be a better fit. When the I3 model becomes available once a again. Presently it looks like a 5 week wait time.
