Lenovo ThinkCentre M82 - Ram, Processor and Graphics Card Upgrade 2020

In this video i will do a CPU, RAM and GPU Upgrade on a OLD Lenovo ThinkCentre M82 Desktop Computer.
Specs before the hardware upgrade:
500GB Western Digital Blue,
Intel Integrated HD Graphics,
Ram 2+2=4GB DDR3,
Intel I3-3220 third generation Processor or CPU,
Specs after the hardware upgrade:
120GB SSD Sata 3 6GB + 500GB Western Digital Blue,
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Graphics Card with 4GB of Vram,
Ram 2+2+2+2=8GB DDR3,
Intel I5-3570 third generation Processor or CPU,
If you want me to game on this CPU and BenchMark it please comment below which games i should play and show you the FPS.
I bought this Lenovo ThinkCentre M82 Desktop Computer Case for 60 Euros.
The SSD costed me 20 Euros.
The 4GB of ram and Intel I5 3570 CPU costed me 40 Euros together and the Nvidia Geforce Gtx 1650 Graphics Card costed 150 euros.
I already added the SSD and installed windows before i replaced the other hardware parts sorry about that.
I think this has a great value for the money and is a great way to save some money if you want a office and a gaming budget desktop PC for everyday use.
The reason i chose the Nvidie Geforce GTX 1650 graphics was because of the non-generic or non-replacable power supply in this desktop that had only 300W.

I bought the same pc back in 2012. I installed a bigger PSU and installed a GT 450 (I think). Next I think I will upgrade the CPU to the i7 3770 which is the maximum, and max out the RAM to 8 GB. I will also try to install an SSD, but I don't know if that will work. A better GPU will also be installed. It will be fun. Thanks for the video.

@@newstyla8579 I don’t think my RAM runs that fast… my pcs are in a container now, so I have to get to you on that one. I actually bought an i5-4790 and I honestly don’t remember the RAM settings.

I ended up buying a 4th gen motherboard with a 4570 and just swapped the old mb out and put in another 650 Watt psu I had laying around from an earlier build. Works fine. Put in a 1660 OC in it.@@rewindcat7927

Hey i have the same pc as you have it have i5-4670 and 8gb ram and 280 WATT MAX power supply which graphics card will work fine with 280 WATT MAX POWER SUPPLY pls reply ❤️🙏🏻

Only the ones that don't require extra power from the power supply and work directly from the pci express slot. I use a gtx 1650 from nvidia.

Sff gpu is kind of expensive you could have added an rx580 and just get a 24 to 14 pin adapter and a psu and the computer would be way better.

Intel i5 4570 PNY GTX 1060 3GB 520W Dynex PSU plus 8 dollar adapter 120GB SSD 2x Seagate 500GB HDD 7200 RPM Lenovo ThinkCentre M83 OEM Motherboard 20GB DDR3 1600Mhz Cooler Master Elite 310 PC Case 4x 120mm Nexus Blue LED fans 1x 80mm Blue LED fan (replaced fan on heatsink for a Blue LED fan with better RPM's and a better bearing) I cut the locking tabs off of the PCIe x16 slot because not doing so will make it incredibly difficult to remove full sized GPU's from this motherboard front panel Power, Reset and USB is totally possible but not front panel Audio as the GPU covers the connector for that feature. Everything but front panel audio works on these case swap upgrades. You can go higher end stuff than what I listed but I listed what I did because this entire PC cost me 250 dollars USD to put together. Hope this helps.

@@newstyla8579 the system you buy matters I believe. I used an M73 tower and the Crucial RAM was good for what it was. In Bios it says 1600mhz.

I did this for 93m tower. I had old 32gb of ddr3 lying around so put that in it, a 1tb Western Digital blue SSD, and a asus 1050 card. My pc came with only 200w, so I had to upgrade it. I got a 14pin to 24pin ATX power supply adapter and added a 650w module power supply to it. I need to replace the CPU fan it making grinding noises. I am really happy with it.

I bought one of these and I installed the a gtx 750 on the computer normally but I can't install the driver for the graphic card it wouldn't work i dont know why i have i5 4570 and 12 gb ram and ssd 120 gb and hdd 500 gb everything running normally but i cant install the graphics card drivers

Hello, I have a problem, I have the computer not long ago... But it won't let me enter, I mean, I connect everything and the screen still appears black and I put the CD that said it installed everything, and it still helps

Try to power off and remove the power cord from the PC and next remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard for a few minutes and put it back in after that put the power cord back in and power on the pc again and check if that helps. Good luck.

I have an M78 refurbished came with one Edge and one Samsung. Added two SAmsung for 8 GB. Tried 2 Kuesuny DDR3L 1600 worked fine. Crusial (forgot I had) also worked fine. I have some faster G.Skill to try.

yes and no the problem is the power supply you need a stronger power supply but you need a special power supply not a generic one. google search m82 desktop power supply and you will see what i mean.

@@King-sv5xf I did on my M82, because I bought a GT 450 GPU, and the existing PSU couldn't run it. It was very hard to fit it in computer as there is so little space, but I did it, so it is possible. I don't remember the PSU I bought.
