Yes you are right. In this case The motherboard was turning on by itself because the CMOS battery was removed and the first time plugged to the power. The processor was getting hot too.

Hi can you help me? I replaced TPS chip, laptop still gets 5v, .90 amps. Voltage at TPS chip goes up and down 1v-3v, and battery light blinks. Is it maybe fake chip from china ? or installed incorrectly?
