I bought myself a new laptop. Another Thinkpad it is! If you enjoyed the video, please subscribe to my channel! Website and Blog: macintoshmen.is-great.net
It's more than just famous, it's in-famous! I think going to the max RAM will save you money from upgrading it in the future unless it's some crazy amount that will be way cheaper in 5 years, but what do I know; my main laptop's got a Celeron (based on Core 2), a spinning hard drive, & 8 GB of RAM.
Just bought one today, open box, like new, for $350. The only unknown is which display is in it and what condition the battery is in after sitting in a box for 3 years.
i bought a refurbished one for 800 AUD, i7 processor 16gb ram soldered + 16 gb upgraded, 1tb ssd, pristine condition Seems Lenovo finally has better display options available, mine has a 4k 500 nits 100% color accuracy display and its gorgeous, gone are the days of dim lit yellowish coloration which made me hold back on purchasing one for so long however, in your case seems you went for a lower quality display option which is a lot cheaper too
Yeah, the screen still doesn't blow me away but I like the laptop regardless. It's a great workhorse and I like that it's upgradable. I upgraded mine to 16GB and I am thinking of upgrading it's SSD too.
God damn Lenovo, they have Ryzen series for Thinkpad while my region still hard to find a decent Ryzen Thinkpad. Not gonna lie, my region still sell a refurbish Thinkpad from Sandy bridge or Ivy bridge era for the cheapest one While a refurbish Haswell and more it's still sell like a new IdeaPad series.
