Don't just buy the keyboard even though it's cheaper. (~$20)
Buy a new bottom assembly with the keyboard already installed. (~$50)
You have to destroy the plastic rivets to remove the old keyboard. Without applying new rivets, the new keyboard will be sunken into the body of the laptop. There is basically NO WAY to replace the keyboard and have it back to a like-new state.
Avoid all of this by just buying an entire new bottom assembly. I did this so you don't have to! 🙂
